I don't know how closely you follow the NBA and/or Philly sports, but the whole thing with The Process is that the results were ALWAYS just around the corner, and the 76ers were always right on the cusp of consistent, prolonged, championship contention.It has to get better and they are in this spot because that have chosen to not make dynamic moves, and not enough moves in general. Now the seat should get a little hot because they need to win games instead of trying to play 4-D chess while under the thumb if one of the worst owners in the NFL.

The challenge with the NFL is that most veteran non-QB contracts are effectively three-year deals; rookie contracts are four-year deals. There's no "slow build to sustained success" because Garrett Williams is two years away from free agency.
