We can all say whatever about todays game but at the end of the day, we weren't beating the Rams next week anyway, they're healthier now than the first time we played them. I had a bad feeling about the Panthers because of the way they took the Chiefs to the wire several weeks back.
They also took the Eagles to the final down and had Tampa Bay on the ropes as well.

Yea, you’re being no different than 602 with Kyler.

Why?

He's not played to expectations. Expectations are not on him. They were largely unrealistic for a rookie.

But he's barely scraping minimum expectations.

But also he's not been ass. 800/7 is not ass.

Hopefully he gets some tougher questions this week. This game was really lost in the 1st quarter and there were a lot of mental mistakes. I thought for sure we would be locked in and ready. But we were not.
The game was not lost in the 1st quarter.
This offense has been the downfall of this team for most of the year. The defense didn’t play as well as it has but we got the ball 3 times in the last 4 minutes and and manage an interception ( dumb) a desperation fg (caused by Kyler running instead of a toss to McBride forcing a last second time out, and a total flop in OT partially due to our superstar wr.
This game was lost the second Connor went down.
I don’t want to hear anything about the defense. Sometimes you have to score 35pts to win. We can’t.

Yeah I am done, please get rid of Kyler...

Not that it matters, but can anyone explaIn to me how there can be an illegal man downfield during a punt? I am pretty sure I have never heard that penalty before.leave before the ball is punted. It’s a rule all the way down to pee wee football.

Might as well lose the last two, finish 7-10. Record will be better than last year so everyone can claim improvement while still drafting relatively high. We’ll be somewhere between 10th and 15th in the draft, which put us on borderline of getting a really good player. And we’re still stuck with Kyler.
Don’t worry, he will.

Monti blew the 3rd and 4th pick in back to back drafts. Thinking he’ll make a good pick when there’s actually MORE uncertainty is an exercise in futility.
That FA tho...SMB/Nichols/Jones as your big name additions is laughable. Our talent level as a whole remains far behind a lot of the league, basically 2 full years through a rebuild.

This team just always finds a way to let us down.

I will bitch about the defense all I want to. And the offense in the first quarter had it's head up it's ass as well. We spotted them 20-3. Never should've been in a hole like that. That is why it was tight at the end of the game.

The offense has had its head up his ass for 90% of the season. Did you see the Washington won a game giving up 35 points. Bills won a game giving up 42 points as well as the Rams.
But guess what they have a professional NFL offense. We don’t and never will unless some changes are made

Yeah there's a point in the game where they showed Kyler going over to talk to Marv on the sideline and I assume he's trying to show him something or talk him up but Horn just ate Marv up. 2nd week in a row completely shutdown in man coverage

actually in hindsight it wasn't even Horn on the 2 drops on the drive, it was Jackson

Today he was terrible.

I have to get a replay on it so I may be wrong but the play that ultimately cost us this game is the 2nd down play where it's supposed to go to McBride, but Clowney tackles McBride coming out on the play. Should have been defensive holding, Schlereth called it out on replay. If my recollection is right, Marv is the only WR on the field, because we had at least 2 TEs. Kyler can't throw to McBride, there's no room to run because the design of the play was to make it look like a run and sneak out McBride. So Kyler throws incomplete to Higgins. There's a WR on the left side, who I think is Marv, who takes about 2 steps off the LOS and just stops and stands there.

Now maybe he had the same thought Kyler did, which was clearly it's going to be a penalty so I'm not going to run I'll just throw to Higgins and see if I can get it in there. But to not even run a route, on the biggest drive of the season, after dropping 2 balls earlier. I don't know. I need to see a replay I might be incorrectly combining 2 plays in my head, but I'm just so mad at Marv right now.

Maybe, sure didn’t look vanilla before Petz, and I’m sure some proven OCs would love to have a talent like his to work with… but nah the cards always want to bring in cheap low experience guys lol get what you pay for…
Maybe Petzing is a big problem but we’ve seen enough of Kyler after 6 years. He is a part of the problem too.
