I was all over picking MHJ with the 4th pick. I would have been upset if they would have gone a different direction. I still believe he is very talented, but I did not expect this. How many of you felt the same way or did you want someone else? If not for Connor, where would we be? Sorry, just venting.

I wanted him at 4 if we stayed there but I was hoping we'd trade down to about 10-11 and draft Nabers. Looking at how the draft unfolded none of the big three would have been available at 10 or 11 so I'm kind of glad that we didn't but I'm hoping that Marvin becomes the guy we hope him to be next year.

I think 99% wanted MHJ. I am as surprised by overall performance to date. It’s not fair to blame him 100% cuz IMO a lot is on KM and Petzing but man you cannot dismiss MHJ’s lack of understanding of offense or just pure fight. Said earlier his passive personality mirrors his game day performance at times. No teeth to his game.

Yeah, I thought we got the stud WR we needed. I didn't see this coming either. He isn't making plays top WRs make. Again, I think he hasn't been coached well. He shouldn't be learning to drive back to the ball in week 16. We need a dedicated WR coach. I just don't understand why we don't have one.

He'll either adjust to the NFL or become a huge bust. The things he got away with in college don't work against grown ass men.

Brittan Golden is hosting the PHNX Cardinals post-game show just said if he comes out playing like this next season, then fans should be prepared for serious bust potential. Also said that the Front office needs to bring in a veteran to teach him how to play the game and prepare. Very disappointing

I wanted MHJ, but wasn’t of the opinion he was the next great one. Watched a game last year where MHJ caught something like 3 passes for 18 yards. I remember just thinking huh, this is the guy everyone is gaga over?

They should try & get Larry to work with him, while they're at it, try & get Kurt to coach Kyler lol. None of that will happen but man would it be nice.

They are not going to waste their time coaching. They have too much other stuff going on.

When you're blaming the position coach that's how you know you have a bust. Great receivers shine in even the worst situations.

We don't have a WR position coach. That is the point.

I can’t get over how underwhelming his instincts are. Even the uncontested catches look awkward.

If we had a mulligan I’d take Bowers.

He is who I wanted and am disappointed so far. Wish he was more of a "prima dona" and called for the ball more.
I don't think he is a bust and am hopeful he will adjust to the nfl game. I don't think they are using him correctly and never do things to get him into the best situations. I also think that Petzing and Murray are part of the problem as well.

Yep the 2 in a row today just did it for me. Kyler is probably the bigger issue because of contract and how many years he's played but my god 2 plays in a row he lets Jackson their weaker QB come up and knock a ball out of his hands. Just infuriating, I mean it just happened on the previous play and he makes the same exact mistake?

No matter who the QB is, when it's a long out, like the first one, you HAVE to come back to the ball to help your QB. Kyler threw the 2nd one earlier to take that threat away and Marv dropped that one too.

I'm very concerned as the thread says he has no dawg in him at all.

I was sort of expecting a faster Rob Moore. Not that good right away of course but a guy who could go up and get the contested balls, and get downfield. Moore had his critics and the knock on him was always YAC and toughness but he was never as passive as Marv is. My dream scenario was a young AJ Green in his prime not the washed one we got, again nothing close to that so far
