Update on a few of the injured Cardinals, and their impact on the roster and game plan.
- Both RB James Conner (knee) and RB Trey Benson (ankle) are progressing well through their injuries, coach James Conner said.
- Both have a chance to play, Gannon said. That's why he didn't rule either out like he did with LT Paris Johnson Jr. and RT Jonah Williams.
- RB Michael Carter "would get a lot of carries" if Conner and Benson don't play Saturday in Los Angeles, Gannon said.
- When asked if Carter would start should Conner and Benson not go, Gannon first said "I haven't really thought about that" but then in the next breath said "but we have thought about that."
- LB Mack Wilson Sr. is making progress in the concussion protocol, Gannon said. - When asked if Johnson Jr. and Jonah Williams are out for the season, Gannon said, "We'll see."
