Now that says quite a lot about Justin's abilities and the fact that other managers recognize them as well. I wonder if there is any chance they will bring him up to Lancaster soon ... guess I would have to look at the outfield in Lancaster and Tennessee to see if there is any room. They moved...

Heard on the news yesterday that Delmon has been suspended for 60 games ... is that for real? That's almost half the season. Wow ... Also saw a clip of the incident on local news (he is a So Cal boy so it is news, I guess) and altho he said in his 'apology' that he didn't intend to hit...

Upton is doing better now ... his numbers are coming around. As for Delmon Young ... isn't there a pretty healthy suspension for coming into contact with an umpire? Someone told me there was a 10 game suspension. What I don't understand about some young players today ... no matter the talent...

AZ Minor Leager Suspended for Steroids

devilfan02 ... This is from 'Baby Backs: The Next Generation': I was thinking he wasn't very impressive and this only validated that opinion. IMHO, FO should let him go without asking questions. Plane ticket home, maybe.

I will be attending several of the Lancaster games this season ... at least every home and southern division game when a certain pitcher is on the mound ... and will be more than happy to post information about the games. I keep a scorebook as well when I go to the games, so that will give me...

Looks like we got some decent pitching today

I am not sure that the Dback minor coaches aren't 'teaching' how to hold a runner on. Am pretty sure our RHP son worked his runners at first ... but can't really say how many guys are running these days either. As I saw discussed on another board somewhere ... in a thread about Bonds and...

Kirby Puckett Dead After Suffering Massive Stroke

He is awfully young to have a stroke ... that is very sad to read ... prayers are with him and his family that he may have a speedy and complete recovery.

Big oops !!! Thanks for pointing it out. I would fix it in the quoted portions if I could. Don't know why I always switch their names. Guess it just seems like 'B J' should be the little brother. Very embarassesd momma

Altho I have no doubts that B J Upton is a very talented and very mature player for his age, we still need to remember that he is only 18 years old. That is very very young. Playing at the major league level does not just require the ability to hit major league pitching but it is sooooooo...
