    Shaq dissing Kobe, Ewing, Kareem.....

Im bitter about the first round exit myself, but if you think Shaq is the reason you didnt pay much attention. I would put more of the blame on the backcourt allowing Parker and Ginobili to avg 18 and 19 PPG....but that is a debate for a different date. As far as this thing goes, I think it...

    Alexander The Next Marion?

Im not sure that I would compare this guy to Marion. He looks athletic but not Marion-athletic. I would have to give him the edge as far as creating his own shot goes. I wouldnt mind seeing that from a Suns player not named Amare or Steve.

    Karmic justice....

I agree. LA is very fun to watch since Gasol. It used to be the Kobe show which got old quick, but now that he is lobbing up dimes to Gasol it is a lot more fun to watch. I never thought I would cheer for the Lakers as much as I am in this series because I cant stand the Spurs in the least...

    Spurs' arena announcer

I am surprised nobody has mentioned the Dallas announcer. The guy constantly says "Deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeefense" in a loud but monotone voice. Beyond annoying.

    Suns want to make history!

Make history huh? As the only team to ever win 55 games and get swept in the first round?

    Are the suns done?

It is flat out painful to watch the Suns against the Spurs. They look fine and they get leads on them, then all of a sudden someone from the Spurs starts to heat up and the Suns panic and you can just see their demeanor change and they start playing stupid basketball. It seems like it is this...

    Suns @ Spurs [Game 1] April 19, 2008, 12pm (3pm EST) ABC

BINGO! Like I said before, the Suns were called for so many bogus calls throughout the whole game. To name a few: - Shaq turned to the basket and Oberto flopped...offensive foul - Parker runs into Kurt Thomas and somehow Raja Bell is called for the foul - Amare, Ginobili, and Thomas all get...

    Suns @ Spurs [Game 1] April 19, 2008, 12pm (3pm EST) ABC

Am I the only one that is fed up with watching Ginobili take one dribble from the three point line and run with the ball tucked like a football to the basket!? The guy does it all the time and never gets called for palming. It is absolutely ridiculous! Anyway, that is not my main problem with...

    Gordan Giricek

Last night he actually impressed me. I was skeptical of the Suns bringing in another spot-up shooter. Giricek has shown that he can really create his own shot and give some scoring off the bench. Plus, he played some PG when Nash was not on the floor. Pretty good pick up IMO

    Turnover stat

I hope so. They are showing potential in a lot of spurts, they just need to start putting full games together.

    Turnover stat

It's not that I dont want to talk about Shaq, its that I dont want this to turn into a Shaq-bashing thread as so many of the Laker and Heat fans want to do. Anyone that knows basketball can see that clearly the reason that the turnovers are up is because the paint is clogged. The Suns need to...

I'm not talking about Shaq. I am talking about the Suns as a whole. They are playing stupid basketball all the way around.

    Turnover stat

I havent seen this posted anywhere, but I looked up the turnover stats for the suns over the last 8 games. Since Shaq has hit the floor with the Suns, they have had 136 turnovers. The worst part of that is that the turnovers have lead to 159 points for the other team. They are averaging 17...

Nash lost the Hornets game(s) on both side for us

You and me both. From a Suns fan's point of view that doesnt see much of the Hornets, Jannero Pargo looks like he should be the NBA's 6th man of the year.

    Diaw, Are you there?

Dont forget he had 2 turnovers. to his credit, he had 3 assists.

Nash lost the Hornets game(s) on both side for us

If you watch closely, the Suns are getting killed whenever they go to double team someone, or they are being pick and rolled to death. I saw a few times last night when Raja Bell was trying to double a man inside and he and Chris Paul kept passing back and forth til Raja got tired and Paul...

    Suns at Hornets 6:00 MY45

I know what you mean, but I am talking about playing him in a back up role. a lot of the points that Pargo got were when Barbosa was on him. If D'antoni wants a guy who has the energy that Shawn Marion brought to the game, Strawberry is that guy. He is not as much of a threat offensively, but...

    Suns at Hornets 6:00 MY45

What I do not get is that DJ Strawberry is probably the best perimeter defender the Suns have, so why is it that D'antoni decided to leave him on the bench, thus allowing Jannero Pargo to get hot again?
