Marcus Banks Has Officially Signed w/the Suns!!!!!!

Good move in my opinion. The acquisition of Banks will definitely help the team, overall.

    funny statistic

The Clippers are bigger than the Lakers, and could board much better than the Lakers. Their strength is the Sun's weakness. The Sun's strength though, is shooting. If fundamental basketball is played, and players box out, and negate that advantage, the Suns should win. The question will be...

EPSN Releases Top 10 Point Guards of all time

Comparison between Kidd and Nash. Nash has the better shot and court vision. He also slashes into the paint faster, and has better handles. Kidd plays better D. He's not an All Defense First Team, but he's a lot better in this department than Nash. Kidd boards better. His assists aren't...

    Marion

Yeah. Of the three, Diaw is the gem. Barbosa is a good, but Diaw has the physical attributes, the mental toughness, and a good outside shot. Diaw >>> Marion >> Barbosa. Trading away Diaw is an awfully bitter pill to swallow. Like others have said, only if KG says I want to leave will it...

    Marion

Man, if I was the owner of the GM, I'd go downstairs immediately to take a shotgun to McHale for pulling that trade. That's a horrible trade for the T-Wolves. Trading a MegaStar for a bottom of the ladder All-Star, and an up and comer whose upside is getting close to the top? Plus, the wolves...

    Marion

Umm, dude. I was talkin about Peja. Trading for Garnett for Shawn is like trading up from a Chevy Malibu to a Ferrari. No brainer. Peja's D is not up to Garnett's. As for Peja, it is a mental thing for him in game 7. With the flow the Suns have, dayum, that guy would be shooting an even...

    Marion

Nonono. The Lakers want to trade Smush Parker, Devin Green, and a resigned Devean George for him. KG ain't going to LA, no matter what anyone says. Too many people are smoking way too strong a stuff to hallucinate like that. Although one thread that they have was interesting. Peja. Imagine a...

    Marion

A KG trade is a no brainer. Basically every single board, excep that of the T-Wolves is saying to trade for them, eh? I disagree that Shawn cannot attack, and take his man off the dribble. He's done so in the past, and his shot is near unblockable (due to the way that Shawn shoots the ball)...

    Question for Clippers fans

It won't matter. Playing at the Staples vs. Lakers is like playing an away game for the Clippers. Lots more celebrities go to the Laker games than do the Clippers, and it's them who will buy the tickets from the broker. So no, it would have been a lot of away games for the Clippers.

    How to defense the Clippers

Man, last night's game was shoot until your arms fell off. Brand shot an insane percentage, and at one time, was 17/19, shooting almost 90%, and yet the Clippers still lost. It doesn't matter if one player kills the Suns though, as long as the game is fast. It gives the Suns more open space...

Kobe reportedly encouraged teammates to be unsportsmanlike:

What about other players? Lots of people _hate_ Tim Duncan. Look at the Nuggets, and Ruben Patterson. The dude's a _convicted_ rapist, and yet they boo Kobe for the allegations for it. They applaud Ruben, and boo Kobe. So people's minds are messed up in that manner. There's no way you...

Congrats on the win, Suns Fan

He'll live up to being the #1 overall pick the day that Steve Nash does a facial on Dwight Howard. Ain't gonna happen. Ever. He'll be good, but he'll never come close to a number one.

    Lets Kabash the Kobe talk

I don't think that will be the problem. The problem will be, how many hours do you want to watch players shooting free throws? 4? 5? Most of the time, the refs don't call a ton of stuff. David Stern's opinion of 5% of the calls is laughable. There's a sliding scale of what kind of play...

Thomas very willing to stick around

Instead of T-Squared, Tim Thomas' nickname is T-Money. His shot is flat out money.

Kobe reportedly encouraged teammates to be unsportsmanlike:

The question is, would the fans hate Kobe if he donned a Suns uniform? Unlike some people in other forums, I flat out respect players for their talent. Lebron James. Great talent. Tim Thomas. Money. Boris Diaw. Going to be great, and expensive starting player. Currently, the expensive...

Kobe needs to look at the scoreboard during the game

Please chant that Kobe and the Lakers suck, each and every possession of every Lakers game, and especially when your team is winning.

    Kobe= Quitter.

I think the current situation with the Lakers is that he's the only one who has proven anything. Everyone else is wet behind the ears. During the Lakers championship runs, they definitely did go after each other. Rick Fox was the enforcer, and to be honest, there's no such thing on the...

Kobe shows why he's not MVP, but MSP

Do you have a specific quote that Kobe didn't stick to the game plan? The plan was to get others involved. I don't remember a quote from Phil that said for Kobe to take over if the other team members didn't respond. He definitely didn't say that Kobe should have taken over during the postgame...

    Did Kobe Give Up?

You guys are saying that Kobe quit, and not giving your guys, who double on Kobe hard in game 7 any sense of accomplishment in terms of defense? OK. If you say so.

    Kobe= Quitter.

There has been no respect from either side. It's going to become a wicked rivalry, and this is how rivalries go.

Kobe shows why he's not MVP, but MSP

It wouldn't have mattered what Kobe did. The rest of the Lakers gave up in game 6. Kobe is no one man team. In order for others to do anything, they need shots in the open. That was what they were getting from Kobe. If Kobe scored 70, the Lakers would still have lost. Someone else would...

    Signing Barbosa/Diaw

Good luck getting Diaw at 5/40. I suspect it would have to be closer to 50, than 40. Diaw has the physical tools to do very well in the league. Long arms, plays big for a guy who's 6'8", and has some decent agility. He's athletic enough to play really good defense. Barbosa should not be...

Smush Parker guarantees a Lakers series victory

What? Smush Parker is a Laker? I thought he was playing for the Suns the entire series. Hmmm... How did that happen?

Kobe shows why he's not MVP, but MSP

THe problem, as both Phil andKobe have said, is that yes, Kobe could score 50,60, or 70 points. The problem was that the ways the Lakers were playing defense, they would have still lost by 20. In order for the team to have any chance, the others needed to make their WIDE open shots. The Suns...

Interesting point in the postgame interview....

I think he's telling the truth. Why? Look at one of the very first plays that Kobe ran in OT. He literally just dribbled right by Marion for a layup. If Kobe recognized it earlier, he would have been at the rack, for an easy two. Instead, he took an ill advised jump shot against Marion.
