In a way I do agree, Finito, but on the other hand, the Bengals drafted a stud wide receiver over the stud offensive tackle, and they just went to the Super Bowl, even though their offensive line is horrible. You could argue that Joe Burrow is less fragile than Murray, but you could also argue...

There will involuntarily be an element of name dropping in this column, but I have looked at the players as fits in the schemes before mentioning them. Like I have mentioned here many times, the salary cap is not relevant at all. You cannot ignore the salary cap, but teams can get around it...

The most logical trade partner involving Kyler is Philadelphia

https://torotimes.com/2022/02/14/deshaun-watson-deposition2/ I still feel that the Texans is the most logical destination if they decide to move Murray, with Deshaun Watson coming the other way. Murray is a major star in Texas, and Cal McNair need something to make his team relevant to people...

Let’s Take a Moment to Overreact to Kyler’s IG Page

Keep in mind that it is only in Murray's rookie contract there is a clause that he cannot go back to baseball. When that contract ends, he can threat all he want that he will just go back to baseball if they don't accommodate his wishes.

The most logical trade partner involving Kyler is Philadelphia

It is very understandable that you are a little biased toward this case, Russ. :) I think I would be too, if I had the same history. But yes, a lot of women say he did it, and a lot of women say he did not. I don't know what to believe.

Absolutely readers can state that they believe that he is guilty. But that was not the case, as the poster simply stated that he was guilty, and not that the poster only believed that he was.

https://www.foxnews.com/sports/deshaun-watson-support-18-women-sexual-misconduct-allegations Russ, that is a link to an article stating that 18 women, in the same job as the accusers, support Watson and think the accusations are false. I guess that is kind of a reverse perspective to your point.

Imagine if Murray has lost faith in Kingsbury, and that is why he is creating a bit of a stir. Who do Bidwill keep? I tend to think Murray.

The most logical trade partner involving Kyler is Philadelphia

I absolutely agree, Ouchie. But that is also my point, that it is very dangerous to do. :) In this specific case, blindly believing a bunch of prosecutors is unfair to Watson, I think. It is not democratic, and it is not like he has a history of commiting crimes. But I certainly understand your...

The most logical trade partner involving Kyler is Philadelphia

I am sure you have a perfectly conscientious and honorable soul. :) My point was that I am not a fan of the People's Court, partly because it often ignores foundational democratic values, and after all, we don't know if Watson is guilty of anything.

Uninformed and uncritical accusations like that is a major problem in this world. :)

Kyler Murray straight up for Deshaun Watson? Just an idea. Murray is a major star in Texas, and you know that Cal McNair would be ecstatic to the idea of showing that he truly care about his organisation. Obviously, Watson would need to make some sort of proof of innocence.

10 thoughts - Cards' coaching situation

The cap doesn’t matter. :) And you are right – Keim cannot use those first couple of picks well anyway. :D Further, I think that Kyler Murray is the key to this teams’ success, and well, we have seen what Kingsbury can do. Now he gets at least a half season more to show that I am wrong, but...

10 thoughts - Cards' coaching situation

You are probably right. What would you give up for him? I would have no problem giving at least #1 (possibly two) and more. I think that it would be worth it to take a big chance on him changing the franchise.

10 thoughts - Cards' coaching situation

I agree. It is very risky. I guess it is like swinging for the fences? J. J. Watt made a big difference when he was playing, so maybe it is simply Keim hoping for the best. If Watt could stay healthy, it might make a big difference. But I agree that it is too risky. If they did not screw up too...

10 thoughts - Cards' coaching situation

I don’t know, Slanidrac. Couldn’t you say the same about how Bill Belichick had Tom Brady? Or how Andy Reid have Mahomes? I think that a head coach can be fantastic, but still need a good quarterback to show it. Yes, I fully agree. You cannot win consistently without drafting well. It must be...

10 thoughts - Cards' coaching situation

The salary cap doesn’t matter anymore. It is way too easy for teams to manipulate it – especially now that the cap goes up every year (and that will continue for many years due to the latest TV deal). But even if it did matter, coaches don’t count against the salary cap, so it would actually...

10 thoughts - Cards' coaching situation

Well, they have two studs, which makes the job easier for everyone else. The Cards’ defense was better when J. J. Watt was there. When he’s not, you must rely on scheming, which is Joseph’ department. I completely agree. I don’t know, Oaken. I think that the bottom line can be deceiving. The...

10 thoughts - Cards' coaching situation

I have several thoughts about the Cards’ coaching situation, but instead of writing a little in many threads, I decided to write all of it in one post. ----------------- 1 – I think that Michael Bidwill is highly important in this topic. I think that he makes the decisions in this – not Keim...

Cardinals DC Vance Joseph has head coaching interview with Dolphins Friday

While I agree that it is probably unlikely that Miami will hire Vance Joseph, I don't think it is unlikely that Bidwill will wait on doing anything (firing him) before Miami has made their decision. Simply because that would completely doom Joseph. I am not saying that a change are definitely...

    Trade for Sean Payton

Absolutely great idea, Ouchie! I would trade a #1 and more in a second to get Peyton. I think that would probably be the best potential move Bidwill could make this offseason.

    10 thoughts - Rams game

I understand that. It is sort of the downside of success that your coordinators become attractive to others. I think that is one of the main reasons that younger coaches now becomes head coaches, yet still call plays (LaFleur, Shanahan, Flores, and others) - to prevent them from being taken by...

    10 thoughts - Rams game

That's a great picture, LR. :D Well, my dislike of the Rams certainly is mostly because the Cards seemingly cannot beat them (yes yes, I do remember early this season), but also because the national media constantly talks about how amazing McVay is and how perfect the team is build. Basically...

    10 thoughts - Rams game

I heard a radio guy ask the question if Kyler Murray was in the right system. The premise of his thought process was that Murray is extremely talented, and it was an attempt to find a reason for his bad play. Maybe he is right.
