Suns sign guard Collin Gillespie to a two-way contract

Villanova. Averaged nearly triple double in g-league. Shoots 39% from 3. Don’t know about him as a defender. Looks like he has proved about all he can in the G-league. Time to find out if he is an NBA player.

I think their primary target is Kris Dunn and I am ok with that. Having some D at the pint of attack is useful. He is also a good ball handler and an OK distributor.

I am expecting Bridges, Dunn, and Oso to make the roster. One of them may end up starting down the road.

To me, a Reggie Bullock signing is pointless. Go young and hungry, or get someone better.

They have Nurk, Plumlee, Bol, and Oso. How many centers do you want? Four is a lot.

Suns sign Boo Buie to an Exhibit 10 contract

Bouie looks small. I think calling him 6-0 is being generous. And he doesn't break 170 pounds either. There are very few players that size that can make it at all in the NBa.

No. I don't think so. You can have too many vet players. It makes for an unhappy locker room.

He’s got speed and shoots around 40% from three over his last three years of college. He is just tiny. 6-0 is generous. And he is like 160 lbs.

Suns sign center, Mason Plumlee to a one year deal

You can have too many players—especially vets. They should only sign one point guard. Choose wisely.

I would bet a future coaching gig is part of the deal. I think CP3 will transition almost without a break from playing to coaching career in the next few years.

Gambo said it is Monte Morris or Kris Dunn. I would be fine with either or both. I am not sure we need to add anything else.

Chris Paul coming back might be our best option. A guard rotation of Paul, Beal, Book, and Allen, and Okogie is not bad. I would rather have a younger player but Paul at 18 minutes a game might be workable.

Suns draft Oso Ighodaro at #40

So. Watching th tape of this guy. Am I seeing what I am seeing? I am talking about his passing, his handle in the open court. His vision. Sure looks to me like this kid has guard skills.

    Suns 2024-2025 Season Discussions

I am warming to the idea of getting Chris Paul back. If he can play off the bench, significantly limiting minutes, he could be good especially at limiting turnovers and running an offense in the fourth quarter. I am still trying to wrap my brain around that one. The real question would be how...

Players coming out with similar profiles--and shooting deficiencies--were Shawn Marion and Kawhi Leonard. Not saying that he is on their level, it is just the distribution of skills and size is similar.
