    Who’s that bigger receiver...

Talk about under the radar. Michigan WR Donovan Peoples-Jones https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/draft/2020/02/26/donovan-peoples-jones-2020-nfl-draft-michigan-football/4878839002/

    Who’s that bigger receiver...

My son played with him at Baylor otherwise would't know that info.Said he is really strong. Imagine a 6' 3" guy with a 42" vert. Crazy.

    New CBA

Hopefully the team that gets 8 home games doesn't automatically get stuck with 2 preseason games. That's losing twice.

    Running back.

He is a lot smaller than Drake. This is from his scouting report from the combine. http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/deandre-washington?id=2555464 WEAKNESSES Overall size will be a challenging obstacle to conquer. Predictably small hands may have lead to issues with drops and fumbles. Showed...

Futures: Isaiah Simmons (LB, Clemson) – Football Outsiders

I don't think he small as a OLB or even as an ILB in some divisions, but in this division where the emphasis is on pounding the rock he just looks lanky. Might not be an issue just my impression from watching those clips. Carlos Dansby was 6'4" 250.

Futures: Isaiah Simmons (LB, Clemson) – Football Outsiders

I love Simmons but my immediate impression after watching this is that he is too small to play inside against the run. Might be a great safety ala Adub but I don't see him playing a huge every-down run stopping role inside the box or setting the edge.

Would you trade for Stefon Diggs?

No with our cap we should build WR through the draft for cheaper and longer contracts and add a couple other key Defensive cogs through FA.

    The Athletic Trade Scenarios

Chris I am with you. That is why I like the trade. I think there could be a run on QBs and OL so 12 would be a great spot and we can use the extra picks. Interesting that Beeton's stock is rising. He is a beast at 6'7" 369 and athletic. I get it. Here is what they said about him re the Jets...

    49 best FA PFF

I'll have a number 2, with a number 9 and a side of number 8. Oh and I'm not done with #45. Pay, ah I forgot my wallet.

    The Athletic Trade Scenarios

They show five including the Raiders moving up to #8 and us getting Lamb with their #12. I like this trade. 8. ***TRADE*** Las Vegas Raiders receive: 2020 first-round pick (No. 8 overall) Arizona Cardinals receive: 2020 first-round pick (No. 12 overall) 2020 third-round pick (No. 80 overall)...

    Fitz buys shares of Suns

Well he is obviously an alright businessman because he has owner behind his name. Not to mention his $400M investment is now worth $1.5B.

Rivers Linked to Tampa to replace Jameis

He will suck in Tampa unless he has David Johnson in his backfield.

The Panthers are interviewing Mike McCoy today

They hired Joe Brady as OC so these guys would not run the show. Rhule is way too smart for that. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001097109/article/ben-mcadoo-mike-mccoy-interview-with-panthers

Well you can hire him now because the Raiders just let him go. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001096671/article/raiders-fire-brentson-buckner-set-to-hire-rod-marinelli

Yea spinning it like a retirement but my guess is this was not his choice.

    Laviska Shenault, Jr.

Mitch has a good segment on Colorado’s WR Laviska Shenault, Jr. Looks like a fast version of Anquan Bolden. 6'2" 225 lb badass. I know everyone like to talk about Lamb and Jeudy but this guy is the real deal. Would not shock me to see him go before lamb because he has the body to take much more...

    Credit Where Credit Is Due

I’m no SK fan but in retrospect trading your franchise first round QB a year after drafting him at #10 for a 5’10” QB with 1 year of starting experience took serious cahonas. Not many would do that and it turned out to be the right move. That’s why there was never any risk of SK losing his job...

Let’s build a bad ass defense!

I like your plan. Since dreaming is free, imagine Clowney opposite of Jones, Gerald McCoy and Isiah Simmons.

Safest positions to draft in round 1

It would be interesting to dig further down to analyze the economics by position and how the data in the Bleacher Report plays into FA vs Draft.

    Running Back

Given the dilemma we have at RB I don’t think we chase Drake and the huge money he wants. I think we draft someone and let him run his a$$ off in hopes of earning his big contract. I just don’t think the position shapes up for successful long term contracts. The Leveon Bell situation is exactly...
