    Yup, this seems silly. 14 mil contract. No problem. 10 mil guaranteed, no problem. Sounds like his agent wants to double-dip IF he gets cut in his last year. If I'm SK, I hold firm and not give in to this.

    I understand your point, but I don't agree with it. If we are talking rounds 1-3, I'm with you. But round six? Roll the dice. The odds are really strongly against a healthy six-rounder making the roster.

    I don't think it was a throw-away at all. It was a hit or miss gamble and looks like they missed. Rather miss on a 6th rounder than a 1-3. Hope the kid gets healthy and does whatever he wants (football or otherwise).

    Thank you for being a great member from the start! Appreciate the comments. Skkorpion (RIP) is no longer with us, but his vision for the board is strongly entrenched with the Admins/Mods and we hope to honor his wishes by doing our best to maintain that.

    Thanks for the help/advice all. I really appreciate it! Yup, DCR is right. Just got off the phone with DirecTV. They will do the whole new dish, receiver, DVR and install for free. Just $20/mo more for the HD and DVR service charge. Now I gotta go hunt down a 47" TV!

    Do you actually remember that? I was a kid in MN at the time where hockey is a religion. They had at least 5 Golden Gophers on that team. Actually the first game tie vs. Sweden was viewed as a huge moral uplift for team USA. Nobody expected them to compete.
