Found Dog

So this guy followed me home while I was jogging this morning in the West Wing area of Peoria (83rd and Jomax). I currently have an ad on Craiglist and a post on Facebook trying to track down his owners.

My wife is taking him to PetsMart this morning to see if he's chipped but he didn't have a collar or tags.

We can't keep him and I thought I would post here to see if anyone would be interested in taking him in if we're not able to locate the owners.

He's a pretty clean lab, maybe he was an inside dog because he sure wants to go inside our house

there is a website puppy911 or pets 911 or something, i have found it very useful in the past for locating animals or helping p[eople find their animals.

I dont need any more dogs but dont put a lab in a shelter!! let me know what happens.

Wow, great find! Pleasant Valley is the next neighborhood over from me. Going to call them and then let my wife know she doesn't know how to search Craigslist

Lost Black Lab

Our family lab was afraid of the fireworks and escaped our yard!

Male, approximately 6 years old, not neutered. He is thin, undersized for an adult male lab. Probably about 50 pounds.

Lost in Peoria in the Pleasant Valley community, near Lake Pleasant Parkway and Buckhorn Trail.

Well those people found their dog so the search goes on...dang, kinda got my hopes up, too.

Reggie has been re-united with his owner! Unfortunately, two dogs escaped their yard and they haven't heard anything about their other dog.

I received a text from a number I didn't recognize and called on it. Unfortunately, after eating and drinking at my house, Reggie escaped our garage but I called the owner and she found him.

They are still missing their other dog though...

There are organizations that sometimes do it for as cheap as $15. All our pets are chipped, except for two, our newest ones.

There is a group on facebook called Lost Dogs of Arizona. They often post lost and found dogs. I am friends/subscribe. I haven't been of any help, but hope to one day. You just never know.

BTW, nice job, Mike! Always knew you were a good guy.
