    Lots of film on Wolford

That type of bootleg with a TE pulling away from our coverage is what our defense is most vulnerable to. Yikes!

    Big Board Ranking

They don't get cute, but the Seahawks and Patriots draft very scheme specific to the point where they love players in the early rounds that other teams wouldn't consider until very late. It's no surprise they trade down a lot. Both always pick late anyway and why not get some additional mid and...

    Big Board Ranking

Media roasted the Seahawks for their 2012 draft. How could they select Wagner ahead of the in all metrics and stats superior Kendricks, and pick a midget QB in the 3rd??!

    Fifth-year option tracker for 2017 first-round picks

This hurts. Any player on this list would've been a better pick than Reddick, other than Trubisky and Corey Davis. Sucks even more when you see that half of this list are All Pros.

Guys who got away that you wanted for the Cards on day 2/3

Solid prospects. Although Gibson wouldn't have been our pick with Josh Jones still on the board anyway. OL trumps RB as simple as that. Proche just went a spot ahead of us but we don't really have room for a polished rookie slot WR that's a bit older and close to his ceiling. Top 3 wideouts are...

2020 6th round pick is Evan Weaver ILB

I also don't get the bad athlete opinions. Just look at his combine numbers and compare. About average at the ILB position. That's enough for me paired with his football IQ and work ethic. Similar athletic profiles are solid starters at the NFL Level right now. This is a guy you at the very...

2020 Round 4A pick is Leki Fotu DT

Fotu might look lazy on tape, I agree. But reality is, when you are the biggest/best player on the DL you will be the focus of the offensive gameplan and won't wreak havoc each and every rep. Additionally he was playing through an injury. As a rotational run stopper he will help us. Remember in...

Get ready... who's your third round pick

If by the end of the 2nd one player really sticks out on our board, I'm fine trading up rather than settle for a lesser prospect.

Offensive Linemen Being Targeted League Wide?

If this happens take the highest rated player between Brown, Okudah, Simmons and call it a day. Maybe trade down a spot or two if all are equal and if there is opportunity. But don't trade down too far and let legit blue chip talent on defense slip through! That would be a huge mistake!

    Peterson

Him and Chandler Jones are our best defensive players. True studs. Same age. They have at least a couple years left. Considering the sad state of our defense, letting PP go would be a huge mistake. If Okudah indeed slips to us, don't hesitate and field a really good secondary in the next couple...

2019 4th round pick is Hakeem Butler WR

It really hurts. But you could say this for every round/every team that picked a bust in said rounds. Half of the 1st and 2nd round picks are basically busts. Hakeem Butler was deemed a 1st round prospect by lots of pundits and some scouts. There was no way he would slip past the 2nd. If we...

the Cards will tell you what they will do.....

Did they tell already? That said, I'm afraid if we trade down that we miss out on a truly great game changer. Be it one of the elite OT prospects, or whoever falls between Simmons, Okudah, Brown, or trade too far down to nab even Lamb or Jeudy. Murray, McKinney, Chaisson and Henderson have too...

Why we wont draft an OT

Bottom line is that Keim can't really get it wrong. Brown would strengthen our DL immediately. Simmons could be what D-Wash was supposed to be, but even bigger and faster. Okudah would make our CB group elite. Any of the big 4 OL are 10 year starters imo. Some people seem low on Wirfs suddenly...

Getting an offensive lineman at #8

Some people get confused on the long road leading up to the draft. There are 4 OT prospects in this class that are legit blue chip prospects. Those big 4 OTs are easy top 8 choices in most draft classes. Just happened that all 4 fell into the same class and could drop further than they would in...

    Let's talk about Simmons

I actually think 8 is a great spot to be in this draft. 2 QBs are a lock to go before us. Actually 3 are very likely (Cincy, Miami, Chargers). Which leaves us to select a top 5 positional player in this draft. True blue chip prospect. Moving into the teens equals to selecting a class 1st round...

Is Javon Kinlaw worthy of the 8th overall pick?

Worthy, yes. But at least 3 or so even better prospects will be available at 8.

PFN: Cardinals unhappy with Hakeem Butler

Can't fault Keim for taking a chance in the 4th. There was no way imo Butler would be there in the 3rd, let alone 4th. Butler disappointed before taking a redshirt year. So what. He is a raw rookie who got lots of hype and now got a reality check. Maybe he still contributes. He could contribute...

PFF guys on XM Radio regarding Cards and Tristan Wirfs

Flat out wrong. Most have Brown higher but many sources already telling that it's closer than you think. Kinlaw is a high upside, Chris Jones type of game wreaker. With a good DL coach he can shine. Brown is an outstanding leader and key cog as a stout NT, but his ceiling as a pass rusher is...

Don't we need to draft a RB ?

Love him! Perfect fit as well. Although he is a 2nd round pick all day long with how RBs are used these days. CEH despite his size is so tough to bring down in open space, elite wiggle and contact balance. Best hands of any RB in the draft. CEH in the 3rd would be a steal. 4th won't happen.

that ILB position and the draft

True but none of them are even in the same ballpark as D-Hop!

Don't we need to draft a RB ?

Sound plan. Although we could get a complimentary RB like DeAndre Washington or Chris Thompson on a cheap deal and pick a RB very late or UDFA. As Drake has shown he can beast in this offense, considering his age and his low touches over the years, I wouldn't be mad if we threw a 3/18 or 2/14...

I don't buy that 'take the highest rated' OT available

The top 4 OTs are legit top 10 picks in each and every draft class. Just happens to be a stacked OT class. Sometimes there aren't even 4 such talented OT prospects in 3 classes altogether! I don't think you could fault Keim for picking one of them at 8, and if we trade down and still nab one of...

    Cardinals sign LB De'Vondre Campbell

It's tough to cover all the athletic TEs these days when you have no pass rush like the Falcons. No LB can cover an athletic TE forever. Pass rush isn't a big issue for us thanks to Chandler Jones. From the little I've watched Campbell he moves well in space, much better than Reddick ever will...

    Cardinals sign LB De'Vondre Campbell

He is literally Simmons lite. By far not as athletic as Simmons, but who is lol. Still a long athletic off-ball LB who can hit and cover. Like the fit. With Campbell and Kennard we got 2 very versatile LBs. Unless Simmons or Okudah drop, it really seems we will attack the RT spot at #8.

Kenyan Drake Gets the Transition Tag

Once Drake realizes there is no RB market, let alone for a non-elite RB like him, I'd be happy to sign him to a 3 year deal to lessen the cap hit. Still fairly young and lots of tread left on his tires. RBs are kind of dime a dozen now, but with Drake you make a safe bet that he fits the scheme...
