    I mean, fortunately they're bad enough to keep losing. But "strategically resting" Booker would be insane. Last thing the Suns need to do is damage their relationship with Booker. Fortunately I doubt it happens. Just throwing out a worst-case scenario.

    This is what happens when teams purposely tank, which is why I've never been a fan of it. This year is different. This team is just BAD. The few vets they have seem to be fine in a mentorship role. And honestly they aren't really good enough to take minutes away from the younger guys anyway...

    Even Jackson has been coming around. I don't love the moves McD has made, but at this point I'm along for the ride. I'm just impressed Sarver has let it go on for this long. I would be disappointed if McD didn't get at least another 2-3 seasons (after this one) to see how it plays out.

    I did say twice that Booker is a max player in today's NBA. I was just using a random collection of past / present players as an example of what a "true" max player is. (In my opinion.) Booker is getting there, which makes him a max player in the current landscape.

    Maybe the Suns hire Nash and keep Triano around in an expanded role. From what I've read Watson didn't give assistants much, if any, control. Hiring Nash as the head coach is just crazy (and stupid?) enough that I could see the Suns doing it.
