The whole team played great in the early part of that season. The problem Kliff always had was making adjustments in games, during the season, or between seasons. Everyone on the planet knew what was coming almost every single drive.
I’m not 100% sure Kyler is the guy, but I’d like to see him...
Texans have 4 pretty tough games left. Not sure how stroud is doing after the concussion but if he’s out for a game or two the cards will be in good shape. Honestly with Dell being out their offense looked pretty putrid with stroud.
Is there any update on Henry? Between him, Nelson, Jameson , Cecconi, Jarvis and Walston they may be better off letting them compete for the 5th spot.
Unless of course they use a couple of those guys to trade for another bat.
He seemed stiff and slow to start the year but I guess it is to be expected coming off of a knee injury. He has looked much better over the last few weeks.
So do any cap gurus know where this puts us for cap space next year? Are we able to roll over the 10 million in unused cap space from this year to next?
Man I’m not sure I would do either of those . I probably value Perdomo more than most, I just think he’s gonna continue to get better and seems to be a glue guy.
Honestly I’ve been so torn. Nabers has been my favorite all year and then I see MHJ make a special a$$ play and I get fitz vibes.
If we can find a way to get a top OL and DL in FA I might take MHJ and trade up for Nabers. That could be devastating for opposing defenses. Guys like dortch...
I like the idea of signing Miley/Lugo and working the young guys in here and there. If they trade for someone I hope it’s a guy that’s controlled for more than two years and is left handed.
Any QB drafted by the cards this year would suffer terribly. Build this team around Kyler and if he doesn’t workout then you draft his replacement next year.
I am all about MHJ with the first pick as I think he is elite in many ways. I also think the drop off at both oline and wr is not crazy.
My preference would be to sign the best guard in FA and draft a tackle with Houston’s pick or our second rounder.
That’s fair, and when Chase signs his mega deal they better start hitting on lineman in the draft or they’ll have $100 million in two players and continue to be at the bottom of their division.
That being said I would much rather be in the Bengals situation than our own. Lol
I’ll bet Joe Burrows wrist wished they had a better oline. The Bengals are 5-5 and without their franchise QB for the rest of the season.
Either way we should be able to get a good player at both the WR position and Oline in the first round. I would be a lot happier if they spent big dollars in...
