    The RPI doesnt just change based on 1 game, it changes based on the games ASU's opponents played as well. Not trying to turn this into a rip ASU post, but they havent exactly played a difficult schedule. That would be my guess as to why ASU dropped.

    They could have, but they didnt. Paster could have been the associate head coach like Dunlap was. However, its hard to justify giving him that title with KO on the staff.

    Better program at the time. Historically, no Memphis isnt a better program. However, Memphis was one of the top 5 programs over the last 3-5 years and was a Final Four contender. UA was hanging by a string to get in the tournament. No brainer move.

    Better program, better pay, and a higher assistant position, plus he got to learn under Cal for a year. I love Paster, but he would be stupid to have turned down that offer.
