    All rookies need time. I think his drafts have been pretty solid. And I’m not a huge Monti fan. Most are playing and developing. Expecting rooks to be your top players is a recipe for disaster. His free agency does need work. Overall, I’m not complaining.

    Cards never have and probably never will sign big money free agents. They have a culture brewing and they're going to sign guys that fit that culture and not any prima donnas just looking for the payday. At some point, you do have to pay for talent though.
