What a badass he has been, never seen him play better
Is there a world where we bring him back? Him leaving after this season has seemed like a foregone conclusion, but with the way he’s playing, I’d hate to see him go. Signing older guys at non premium positions may not me Monti’s style, but I say bring back Budda & Connor. These guys are the leaders.

He earned his return pass as well as Conner. Let’s hope management has the fortitude to do what’s right.

Alright so you guys say sign budda and Conner. What kind of contract do you sign them to?

I still think unless they sign short term team friendly contracts you let them walk. You just can’t give ground breaking contracts to 29 and 30 year old safeties and running backs. It’s just not a recipe for long term success

There's a happy compromise between team friendly and "ground breaking "

Yeah, depending on how far this team goes this year maybe they would be inclined to stay? I know I’m dreaming but something tells me JC at least is a loyal and team guy who would take a team friendly deal?

Not as optimistic about Budda, not after he pulled the trade request. Either way, definitely want both of them back.

I think budda wants to be on a winning team. He looks and plays like he is happy. I think something gets worked out.

Agree. You can't overpay and have to let them walk at some point. You have to trust the young guys will step into the leadership roles.
Buddha isn't likely accepting a 1-2 year deal. Conner, maybe.
