RIP to Kobe, his daughter and all the people that tragically lost their lives today. My heart goes out to their families in this difficult time.
I was never a fan of the Lakers but I grew up watching Kobe and it is hard to process that he is no longer with us.
I'm good with any one of Brown, Wirfs, Lamb, Okudah or Wills assuming that Jeudy, Thomas and Young are all gone. That said, a lot can change from now until the draft so we shall see what happens. If I had to guess right now, I think SK will end up selecting Lamb to pair with K1 for many years to...
Mixed game from K1, KK and the team but at least we were competitive vs the Rams this time so I'm OK with it. Would have love to win this one but oh well, I'll take a top 8 pick and hope that SK doesn't blow it.
That's why I said "as unlikely as it is" but yeah, very small chance of it happening. That said, this is the NFL and anything can happen on any given Sunday.
As crazy as it sounds, I feel like the stars are aligning for us to reunite K1 with Lamb in the draft. IMO these last two wins have pretty much placed us around just the right range for us to take him.
I'm fine with it as we should still have a chance at Lamb, Wirfs and maybe even Brown if he falls a bit.
Also as unlikely as it is, we could still move up if Jax, LAC or Carolina win and we lose next weekend to a Rams team that wrecked us the last time we played them.
I'm leery of paying another RB big money but we have to find a way to keep him on a reasonable deal. If only we didn't have so much money tied up to DJ right now, sigh.
It's pretty clear that Ayton needs more games to get back to NBA speed so I look forward to seeing how he looks once that happens. It's completely his fault that he needs time to do so but with only 2 games under his belt so far this season, I'll gladly give the kid a chance to show that he has...
