    Kyler Murray Appreciation Thread

I agree that I agree that Kyler has never been supported with a competent defense. 2021 might be the closest thing to it. I would argue that Kyler has been provided better offensive weapons than Lamar for the most part, but Lamar has had a better offensive line for the majority of years. The...

    Kyler Murray Appreciation Thread

Also, I struggle with any comparison between Lamar and Kyler because you could argue that the Cardinals offense has similar talent. The massive difference is when comparing the defenses. Not even close.

Should I go back and find all the posts that said I was stupid for thinking AZ should sign Derrick Henry?

Also, point of note. The Ravens offensive line is not as good this year as it has been in previous years. Not even close really and the Cardinals started the season with a better offensive line.

    Kyler Murray Appreciation Thread

I do think that in order to get the most out of a Kyler Murray offense, you have to run him like the Ravens run Lamar. I don't know if Kyler would be able to stay healthy with that workload.

The Kyler Murray is mediocre thread

I agree from the perspective that what makes him special as a player is overrated IMO. And it is a bit of a coaching conundrum. You probably need to run him 8-10 times per game to maximize what makes him special. However, he is also physically small for the NFL which makes you look stupid if you...

How Many Years Do JG And MO Get?

The interesting part is how a trade for a player like Maxx Crosby would change the conversation. Monti could easily come out and say that injuries have hit the roster hard, but the team is committed to winning which is why they added a top player.

    Mike Williams

Myles Garrett works in a way because he is only under contract thru 2026 and the rest are void years. Browns aren't going to be good in two seasons. lol

    Mike Williams

Chris Olave would be an interesting WR to trade for.

Defensively...Harold Landry is interesting. Jeffrey Simmons is interesting. Myles Garrett is interesting. Maxx Crosby is interesting.

A player like Wyatt Teller would be a good get.

Players you could add that would help the offense. 1 - An interior OL. It's going to be tough to keep strong on the OL with Hern out. Brown, Adams, and Colon is not a great group and if you added a decent IOL, neither Brown or Hern is under contract next year so it could be a multiyear...

    Mike Williams

He doesn't create separation on his own so, no. He isn't going to help Kyler outside of givng him another player who isn't "open".

    The 2024-25 NFL league year

Because we are owned by a loser who doesn't know what competence looks like and when he trips into it, he runs it off because he is desperate for credit and affirmation.

    Bilal Nichols to IR

This is it for me too. It's the absolute risk-averse approach. We gave decent contracts to DL guys because they were healthy and ate snaps vs actually being good/talented. So, Monti's conservative approach sucks when his signings with rotation level talent don't produce and then don't stay...

2024 Twitter Thread (News of the Cards)

It just doesn't make sense to spend 3.75 mil on a kicker when Marcus Davenport signed for 3.5 mil. Darrell Taylor 3.1. Clelin Ferrell 3.75. Sebastion Joseph Day 3.9 mil. Calais Campbell 2 mil. So many better ways to spend money when your defense is devoid to talent.

    Bilal Nichols to IR

Just like older draft picks don't guarantee a quicker learning curve. Players who have bene healthy aren't guaranteed to stay that way. Monti's mistake was to believe you can throw minimal resources and talent at a huge hole and expect it to work out as planned. Dude needed to add at least three...

    Acquire Haason Reddick?

It was an odd draft to add picks. Most of the convo was that the class was really weak outside of a handful of positions.
  25. Chopper0080

    Acquire Haason Reddick?

Especially since both players would be under contract for next year if Reddick got his extension. Even if it only gets you to 8 win this year, you look like a competitor heading into the off-season, before FA. And you can actually evaluate your secondary.
