    I took a different view, mainly because I've read a lot of King's novels. I chose the best movies IMO that were inspired by King's writing. His writing style isn't conducive to visual storytelling like movies.

    I have a soft spot for Cat's Eye as a weekend "catch on cable" watch, especially Quitters Inc. I also think Cat's Eye used King's short stories in a way that was more successful than those who attempted to stretch them into full length movie adaptations.

    Number of wins the team leading needs added to the number of losses the closest trailing team can accumulate. So for magic number of 9, 5 wins by leading team X and 4 losses by trailing team Y would add to 9 and clinch playoff spot.

    A runner goes half way on a deep fly ball when they're on 2B because the value of the potential run on an error is worth more than the extra base on the catch. I didn't see the game, so I don't know how many outs there were, but a runner might tag with no outs as opposed to one out.

    Descalso leads the team in "clutch" with a +1.91 and leads MLB, while Lamb is second on the team with a +0.89. A rating of 2.0 is considered "Excellent". The limit of this particular statistic is seen this year in Pujols. He is 3rd overall in "clutch" at +1.80, but last overall in WAR at -1.8.
