Suns @ Timberwolves Wednesday game thread 3-23-2022

That will definitely help. I am also really curious as to how much money a championship run brings in. I wonder if a certain number of playoff games combined with other revenue such a run brings in makes paying the luxury tax a lot easier. I am sure that each home game brings in millions, and I...

I am 99% sure Bridges played the entire second half+OT without coming out of the game.

Yeah, officiating has been awful, but that was clearly a foul on Ayton.

This has been a proper butt-kicking. I like it!

Suns @ Heat Wednesday game thread 3-9-2022

That was an incredible performance in the second half. Defense and effort were just incredible. When they play like this, they are impossible to beat.

Suns @ Bucks Sunday game thread 3-6-2022

Oh well, I am not even upset. They played great for 44 minutes without CP3, Book, and Cam J.

Suns @ Bucks Sunday game thread 3-6-2022

Even if they don't pull this off, I am really proud of how these guys are playing. Without Booker, Paul, and Cam Johnson, I expected this to be a blowout loss.

Knicks @ Suns Friday game thread 3-4-2022

Cam is like, "No Book, no CP3, no problem!" What an incredible game by Cam. Holy crap, that was amazing!

Jazz @ Suns Sunday game thread 2-27-2022

Just finished watching the game. Utah was just better today. Suns had almost no bench contributions, they seemed a step late on rotations and on the boards. It's hard to win against a good team when you are down your best (or second best) player, as well as his backup, especially when your bench...

Pelicans @ Suns Friday game thread 2-25-2022

Eh, it's hard to play without a single point guard. Most of the team was off tonight as well- Booker tried really hard, got some support from Ayton and Cam, but otherwise, nobody else contributed. It happens. Here is to hoping one of the point guards is ready to go soon.

Suns updates and discussion for the 2021-22 season

On absolutely, that's the right approach, but it still seems excessive. Six weeks seems like the absolutely worst-case scenario.

Suns updates and discussion for the 2021-22 season

I am confused about this timeline. 6-8 weeks for this type of an injury seems very excessive. I could understand six weeks if they needed to go in there, but even with surgery, 8 weeks is not reasonable.

Suns Are Markedly Better Than in the Playoffs

That is such a good point. I really didn't about it in terms of "4 out of 7". I just don't see how anyone can actually beat this team four times in seven games. You gotta think that a superstar (Giannis, KD, Steph, etc) will win one game by themselves, any team is gonna get hot from three once...

Clippers @ Suns Tuesday game thread 2-15- 2022

I'm just gonna say it- Book is turning into some combination of less athletic Kobe Bryant and Tracy McGrady (during his peak). Better than T-Mac, not as good as Kobe. He is not nearly an athletic freak that Kobe was, and he is probably not as good of a defender, but in my opinion, he is closer...

Suns updates and discussion for the 2021-22 season

Mikal finding his mid-range jumper and post-up game has been huge. Due to his wingspan, he is near-impossible to block. I really like it when he cuts to the middle or rolls to the middle after setting a screen. He gets the ball and it's deadly. He either shoots over his man, passes it to the...

    2021-22 Around the NBA Thread

I am still all about signing him. It's a playoff rental with very little cost. He can't be worse than Shamet.

Bucks @ Suns Thursday game thread 2-10-2022

Yes, absolutely. He is a much better defender, more exciting, and most importantly, more experienced. McGee has been in the finals (and won) multiple times. Experience is important. I like Stix, and I wish him the best, but he was not ready to contribute on a title-contender just yet.
