    yea but the suns had the 26th lowest salary out of 29 teams last season and the record showed it. You have got to spend to win. We are in a position to afford both Oubre' and Russell. I do not understand focusing on lesser players "Rubio" just to save a few bucks.

    What? This team has a hard time convincing mid level players to sign here. Booker may be flawed but you have to retain top players in order to bring respect to the franchise. Signing Booker was a step in the right direction. Letting him walk would have devastated the franchise

    I wouldn't blame Booker. He along with the rest of us have been waiting too long for a PG. I can't believe we are even having this discussion. The Suns need a PG in the worst way. Why not make a hard push for the guy(s)? Why settle for crap without even trying? I don't get it.

    Didn't Jones say several months ago that his plan was to add six or seven roll players this offseason? If so these moves would seem to support that thinking. I guess time will tell but it sure looks like they have no idea what the hell they are doing. Signing Russell and Oubre would go along...

    The discussion was about signing Randle and Russell. I was just wondering how much cap we could clear in the slim chance that scenario was an option. Even if we stretch Johnson he would still count against the cap to some degree and the #6 also has a cap hold. Not advocating any of this...
