    2019 Draft Prospects...

I get that. Still kills me. I think it's because I really like Morant, because he plays for the same school, and because his game is so different from Canaan's. Also, he's one of the realistic options with upside for the Suns at this point. Kemba was my favorite target last season, and now that...

    2019 Draft Prospects...

Lots of turnovers in that game...but he was easily the best player on the court against Alabama this year. I rarely get annoyed by takes on here (it's a message board, so what do I expect?), but the Ja Morant-Isaiah Canaan comparison is slowly killing me.

Sources: Lakers trying to acquire Suns forward Trevor Ariza in a three-team deal

I'm reading some pretty concerning things about Goran's knee issue. https://heatnation.com/team-news/report-erik-spoelstra-reveals-news-goran-dragics-knee/

I tried to convince anyone who would listen! To an annoying degree.

No!!! It's Kemba Walker all over again!

Sources: Lakers trying to acquire Suns forward Trevor Ariza in a three-team deal

I would love to get Dinwiddie and lock him down for 4/48. That's a great deal. Either he's your starting point guard (which I think he could be) and you've got a steal, or he's an elite backup like he is for Brooklyn right now, and that's still a solid contract. I think Brooklyn would be all...

Sources: Lakers trying to acquire Suns forward Trevor Ariza in a three-team deal

I know Dinwiddie is eligible for an extension until summer, and the Nets can't go over 4 years, 48 million or so on that. Does anyone know if that situation transfers to the Suns in a trade? If so, he's the perfect target.

    Clippers @ Suns 12-10-18

Maybe my standards are depressingly low these days, but I thought this game was a pleasant and enjoyable surprise .

The 2018-2019 Around the NBA thread

If you're watching all the Suns games and think that lowly of Booker and Ayton, you need to change your viewing habits for the sake of your health.

Deadspin: The Suns are melting down

How could you want to get rid of this coaching staff? They clearly know how to execute at a high level in every aspect of the game, from start to finish.

    Goldschmidt traded to Cards

Back end of the rotation is set. Now we just need a bullpen, players who can hit the ball, and the front end of a rotation. Good thing we have no financial restrictions!

2018-19 Season | Point Guard Discussion

Spencer Dinwiddie. Spencer Dinwiddie. Spencer Dinwiddie. He's shown real improvement. He's a playmaker. He's in the sweet spot of age where he's developed and mature but has tons of prime years left. Brooklyn has him coming off the bench and has to make a decision on an extension. They can't...

2018-19 Season | Point Guard Discussion

Call me a pessimist, but as a longtime Arizona sports fan, I'm not a huge fan of the big downside gamble. That's the type of swing you take if you don't have Ayton and Booker already imho

2018-19 Season | Point Guard Discussion

Yeah. That's just gross. In no scenario should the Suns even remotely consider giving up Jackson for Fultz. That's crazy talk. Plus, Okobo likely has a brighter future than Fultz. The argument could be made you gamble on Fultz for the upside, but you're also dealing Jackson's upside in this...

2018-19 Season | Point Guard Discussion

But then maybe we could get two 10-15 million guys. Ten million in cap space is still ten million in cap space.

2018-19 Season | Point Guard Discussion

My issue with this is that it potentially complicates free agency. Let's say we trade Ariza for Fultz and Fultz is clearly a dud by the end of the season...Now we've got an extra $10 million on the cap, limiting our point guard options in the offseason. The best thing Ariza offers to this team...

Spencer Dinwiddie is still my target. Love this guy. He'll either get an extension on December 8th, or he'll be an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

    Suns needs

I'm mainly just having fun with how bad they've been. In reality, I think the Suns are still better positioned for longterm success than most teams in the league. Everything else should work out great if they get the following three things: 1. Consistent development from Ayton. He's got all the...

Empty Roster Spot is underrated. He may be the 8th or 9th best player on this team.

    Suns @ Clippers 11-28-18

It seemed very similar to about five separate moments in the past few games. Booker has been coaching Ayton a lot, and he usually looks mad and exasperated.
