While I get the antipathy towards Bridges (I'm not thrilled about him myself), this is quite literally the only move the Suns could possibly make that would result in any improvement of their chances to win anything.
It would be the "sell your soul" type of move we haven't historically seen...
It certainly seems to decrease the probability that Charlotte will dump him for a song even if they might end up losing him for nothing at the end of the year.
Two guys with star careers (Westbrook, Love), one could have been (Rose), three good journeymen (B. Lopez, Gordon, Gallinari), and two career roster fillers (Augustin, R. Lopez)... and the rest were categorical busts.
I'm really starting to be convinced he can't coach worth a lick and that any success they've had since he's been there is really due to him being an above average recruiter.
