Yeah, offense has been pretty good as of late, but rebounding and Turnovers constantly killing us.

The Suns didn't play any defense tonight. It's especially hard to win on the road without it.

No leadership on the floor. Hawks bench more than doubled the Suns bench scoring.
Not a good sign even tho' these are the 'dog' days of the NBA regular season.

Takeaways from the game:

-Atlanta got too many easy looks at the basket off the pick and roll
-Atlanta got too many favorable calls
-Bradley Beal sucks in that mask
-It feels like KD & Booker barely play together
-Suns still not in the contender conversation

It feels like the Suns let the opponent run free and get any shots they want. Coaching has to be a part of it, but I'm not sure how much.

The fear is it's the personality of the team.

Vogel is really, really, REALLY, not a good coach.

Actually, their offense is top notch. If our defense was even just average, we’d be SO much better. Even when we finally do get a stop, we can’t procure the defensive rebound and they invariably score.

The offense is top notch... when we have specific lineups on the court and during the first 3 quarters.

The bench is awful and even the "best 5" struggle to function late when the game tightens up and execution really matters. Granted, the offensive woes are worse when we're winning, which makes little sense. When trailing late, we seem to shoot lights out, but, as you mention, we also can't get any stops.

In the 4th, Durant and Booker seemingly default to whichever is playing slightly better and the other totally disappears. Booker basically vanished in the 4th, didn't score a point, might have taken one shot. These guys should play off each other, not default and take turns.

It's easy to blame Vogel (and he certainly hasn't impressed) but it's a roster with a lot of players who only contribute on one end of the court or the other... some guys on neither. You get what you pay for in that regard.

We gotta figure it out quick. We're 5.5 games out of a top 4 seed. I know some don't think seed matters much but only once, ever, has a team outside the top seeds 4 won an NBA title, and that team was the defending champion Rockets. Even teams seeded outside the top 2 have only won the tile 9 times in 74 years.

In the last 30 years the Suns have won 17 series with home court advantage. As the road team we have one only once.

By quarters, the Suns were playing catch-up, and again the 4th quarter looked horrible. Book sitting on bench a good portion of the 4th because of four fouls. So what,,,,he had two left and how often does Book foul-out of games? Play him,,,he's our All Star. Hawks were hot with their 3 pt shots, and
found the open paint lane too many times for easy buckets. Might try playing some zone with Bol Bol guarding the middle lane for blocks and rebounds.
For the minutes played, Gordon was disappointing and the same for Beal. Turnovers cripple this team in too many games.
