    He could have been an OK HC or an OK OC but he became mediocre at both. Any half decent HC would have ordered stop throwing screens behind the line, push the field down or told VJ play tighter D during crucial drives.

    I think KK being OC and HC was one of the causes of his ultimate undoing especially for a rookie HC. I don’t mind KK calling plays but its just too much work to be OC and HC at the same time.

    This has MB’s handprints all over. Hire Lou as HC, Byron as OC, keep the entire defensive staff with VJ as DC. Save money and keep familiarity. If it fails just say we are trending in the right direction and are not that far off. If it does work out MB will think he’s a genius.
