Yeah I didn't get that impression either. The majority of the camera shots were of Cards fans and rightfully so!
I think most of us were pleasantly surprised to see that there was NOT as many Bear fans as we all thought there would be. I know I thought there would be at least 20,000...
Anybody watching this one?
I'm kinda liking this show. Pretty funny. :)
The characters are really exaggerated, but not by much. lol I've seen a few in "real life" like that before. Especially the "needy" chic. You know the one who's trying to get the Dr.'s attention all the time and just...
Yep! That about sums it up for probably 99% of Cardinal fans.
This is why I say we fans know more (or appreciate more) than all these head coaches that come through. We KNOW we are the Cardinals...and you have to be up at least 3 maybe 4 scores late in the second half to "SEAL IT"!
Damn...
That poor kid was just excited he made it past the 20 and was still able to walk. lol - I honestly don't think JJ likes playing in the NFL. Too scary...all those big men trying to tackle and sh*t.
Great recap Shane! Glad you had a blast and had a chance to witness a "home field advantage" in the making!
Your right...the Cards fans completly rocked all night. They sounded HUGE on tv. In my opinion...the 8-10,000 Bears fans was the same amount for the Chiefs the previous week...
The idea is to get fans in the seats in case you can't make it. It's better to at least attempt to have as many people in the stands as opposed to having some empty seats. It has been going on for years. The Suns do it, and even small universities in Kansas do it. ;)
We have ABSOLUTELY no trick plays in our aersonal.
Conservative coaching and SLOW o-linemen.
The problem here with the Cardinals since the time Moses led the slaves through the parted sea is that all these coaches who come here trying to rectify the losing ways say this...
"Let's get back to...
Oh yeah...it's always been there! Just gotta be .500 every once in a while, and maybe make the playoffs a time or two per decade.
Easy-capezee...
Football is KING is professional sports and this market is indeed dying for a real NFL team. Just look how easily the new air-conditioned...
I remember when Denny got here he asked player to fix his facemask. Player declined and Denny wanted to cut him. At the time, Player was a very good punter. Ownership told Denny Player stays.
When you suck...you punt.
And so goes the Bidwill way....
Apparently they're not.
Apparently Denny thinks we're going to get a running game going. Oh we might surprise in the first quarter, but after the other team makes adjustments...for-gedd-a-bout-it...
You can NOT protect a lead when your the friggin' Cardinals!!!
Every NFL team in the league knows (thinks) they can beat the Cardinals no matter how dire their situation is. Down 20 points..."Fine we still have a chance. We're playing the Cardinals for Christ sakes!"
Until this franchise...
If Denny vows to change his whole o-line "philosophy" and get with the times of being a less fat o-line...and having eaten a gigantic portion of "humble pie" in the ego department...then I'm leaning for giving him one more year and one more free agent/draft.
I know...that sounds CRAZY! :eek...
Doubt he did that in Pittsburg. Our o-line philosiphy seems to be pretty ....uggghhh...."weird".
He blocked NO ONE! I'm just thankful Matt still can talk and has mobility of his limbs. Thanks Oliver...Canton couldn't be farther away! lol
Let's name Denny's boys...
Q? Nope. (Drafted before Denny came to Cards)
Bryant Johnson? Nope. (Drafted before Denny came to Cards)
Wilson? Nope. (Drafted before Denny came to Cards)
Leinart? Please...that was unexpecteded and a gift.
Edge? Nope...that was all about the dollars and "Q's"...
