Brett Favre should have been a Jet (Cards' related)

His year of playing experience (0/4 2ints) doesn't help his value. I think QBs can and do improve while riding the pine, but not enough to make this trade seem like a good deal. I'm not sure what pick in the 1992 1st round they gave up. It had to be fairly high since GB was pretty bad in...

Brett Favre should have been a Jet (Cards' related)

This obviously worked out to be a great trade, but at the time I would have been calling for Ron Wolf's head. He trades a 1st round pick for a guy that was drafted a year earlier in the 2nd round who only saw limited playing time. When he did play, his stats (according to NFL.com) were: 4...

    Tommy Knight

You could make an entire coverage crew of former 1st round busts. I'd get Wendall Bryant as a sideline reporter - that is where he spent most of his time afterall.

Poor TV coverage of most games

:lmao: My wife does the exact same thing! That robot drives her crazy. I don't like it either, but she goes off on a rant almost every Sunday about it.

Holy Cow!!!! Rackers Actually Made One!!!

I know you've been a Cards fan long enough to believe this.

Holy Cow!!!! Rackers Actually Made One!!!

A Christmas miracle would have resulted in some mathematical scenario that resulted in the Cards going to the playoffs. I think this was more like a Festivus miracle. :)

Holy Cow!!!! Rackers Actually Made One!!!

Was that Hodel down at the end? If so, I wonder who our backup long snapper is?

Holy Cow!!!! Rackers Actually Made One!!!

He actually made two - one to tie and one to win (which was at least one more than I was expecting....)

Fitz and Q are "game-time decisions"

I didn't either, but due to other injuries that left me with the Bear's Muhsin Muhammad. 27 yards last night......fantastic.

    Dansby's ranking.....

I agree that they need to lock him up ASAP. I wonder how much more it's really going to cost the team by waiting, though. If they had extended him last year for less, playing at this level I could see him complaining this offseason that he needs a new contract and missing the OTAs, etc. Does...

Massively Giving it up to Dockett

I hear what you're saying, but I don't believe WendEll Bryant had any intention of having a career in the NFL. The guy holds out into the start of his rookie season which allowed him to miss all of training camp and when he did play, he did nothing. He went on to be injured (or suspended)...

    Wilson Fined

Don't know if this has been posted yet. I just saw on NFL Network crawler that the NFL has fined AW $10K for a horse collar tackle last week that wasn't called by the officials.

    Call to joeshmo.

You mean I shouldn't stay mad at the FO for structuring deals last spring to use up this year's cap number? :D

Agreed. We've made a lot of other team's highlight reels.

What I want to see Sunday

    1) Why didn't Rackers just kick it out of the endzone every time? 2) Why didn't Barr just kick it out of bounds every time? 3) What's with the gray seats at UoP?

    Warner's Arm?

I can't help but chuckle every time they're referenced as "the Tims". They should only count as one roster spot. :)

    Correct short form of Whisenhunt?

I've decided to go opposite and use a variation of his first name. Henceforth, I will refer to him as Special K. Until I change my mind.

    Kurt Warners Stats are SICKENING!!!!!!!

I totally agree that Kurt is our best option. Here's hoping his performance from here on it looks more like the 2006 S&P 500.

    Has this ever happened before?

Agreed. It doesn't matter what your touchdown percentage is if you don't get to the red zone enough. But still, it seems like stalling in the red zone had been a problem for the last several years. I'm taking it as a good omen and mixing up another batch of Kool-Aid. :koolaid:

    Has this ever happened before?

http://www.profootballweekly.com/PFW/NFL+Statistics/Inside+the+Red+Zone/2007/6redzn.htm Through 6 games, the Cards lead the league in red zone touchdown scoring: Now we just need to get in the red zone more often!
