    I'm not expecting 180+ yds in Week 1. I'm just wondering if he won't become the primary target again once the "real" offense is unveiled. I'm not knocking Fitz. Far from it. It just seemed like Boldin "disappeared" during the preseason.

    He had a pretty quiet preseason... I don't know how much of that was due to the broken nose. Fitz seemed to be the first guy Warner was looking for most of the time, even when Boldin was playing. I'm hoping it was a by-product of the "watered down" preseason offense and Q will open the season...

    I seem to remember one play we had down pretty well. The quarterback would do a behind-the-back pitch to the running back while his back was turned to him. It would cost us some yards, but saved us a lot of time by not having to bring the punting unit in. :O

    South Dakota. I started pulling for the Cards back in the late '70s because I liked rooting for the underdog. I don't think I'll be able to use that reason much longer! My real obsession didn't manifest itself until DirectTV and the Sunday Ticket.
