    Also, as I recall, Brown was asked to lose weight in Houston so he could become quicker/faster and couldn't/wouldn't so he was allowed to persue the FA market which is where we found him.

    Opening Day OL Starters

    I like MB and Lutui at Guards, Leckey at Center, Levi at one of the Tackle spots and Mr. X at the other. (where Mr. X = Gorin, Gandy or Wells) OBTW, what ever happened to Gorin ? Seems like he should be in the mix somewhere. He is certainly better than Ross.

    My concern is that, like last year, this board had a OL line up that was very close to what we eventually ended up with. It took the "Coaches", what, eight games to see the light. I just hope that "the Whiz and Grimm" know what they're doing. Wells did NOT excell at Guard ! Gandy MAY do...

    Zak DeOssie ?

    Hey, anybody know or hear anything about this guy ? He's a LB from Brown and has some pretty impressive numbers (6'5", 250 lbs, 4.03 short shuttle) father played for the Cowboys and I think he's on the Pats radar.

    Thomas vs. Brown

    Garthshort, I have not seen Brown and I've only seen Thomas in the Bowl game and he handled the DE with EASE. I only watched part of the game and Wisconson didn't have many running plays during the time that I watched, but in the passing game Thomas was very impressive.

    Muffin, I agree we need an OT but if Thomas is gone when we select at 5 I think we should go for the DE Anderson NOT Levi. 5 is WAY to high for Brown, we can get something just as good as Brown in the 2nd or maybe 3rd Round (e.g. Staley, Martens, etc).

    I agree Perivolaki, if you recall the same thing happened with our CB Green. DG seemed to have different performance standards for each player.
