I'd hate to say it, but I almost liked that the Cardinals were bad for a few years because now I have great 45 yard seats only about 10 rows up. Now they need to kick butt because I doubt any of the better seats will be leaving anytime soon.
Why are people so willing to give up previous proven commodities? Why would you give up Fitz when you know he's really good.
Everybody seems to think future players are better without any idea if they will be or not. How many previous first rounders are better than Fitz?
Even if we are doing as well as them I would still say Dallas has inferior personel besides Dirk.
Maybe I should make a post of which five guys other than Dirk or Nash would you make your starting five if you could chose from both teams. What would you have, one Dallas player, Josh Howard?!
Also if you have a guy who scores 50 points a game and shoots 85% he would be considered MVP in the league no matter how few assists he had because a normal team averages in the 40's and 50's when it comes to percentile. The rest of the team would have to screw up big time for them to lose on...
unfortunatley it's the MVP for the regular season not the post season. It can also be debated that the Suns have better players than Dallas other than Dirk EVEN WITHOUT Amare.
I think of this like the OJ case too much evidence so lots of people get confused. OJ: Blood all over the place..matches his DNA, case closed.
Dirk, has inferior players compared to the Suns but has a better record. Dirk= MVP until proven otherwise. Case closed.
Steeldog, you keep ignoring what I think is the most important thing.
Our top four guys other than Nash are better than Dallas' other four guys other than Dirk and Dallas is doing better than us.
What doesn't add up here?
That's why I would like to front load the contractx if possible. Demorlizing your good players, well that's got to be happening anyways. Veteran players must be pissed when they see how much some of these mediocre players are making. Unfortunately the league and the willingness of their...
I think Dirk definitely makes his players better. As I mentioned I would take our four other players against their four any day. The X factor must be Dirk or we over value our own players and Amare and Marion aren't really allstar caliber players.
The more I look at their roster the more I'm surprised they are (probably) better than us.
look at their starting five
Josh Howard
Dirk Nowitski
Erik Dampier
Greg Buckner
Jason Terry
and even their sixth and seventh
Devin Harris
Jerry Stackhouse
Now lets look at how...
I'm thinking his chances are slim to none.
I think Dirk will win it. They have just been too dominate. Many people would argue that his supporting cast is worse than ours too.
Out of the other four starters between the Suns and Dallas who would you like to trade? Josh Howard is good, but...
Sorry to keep responding to your quotes but there are so many stupid ones to comment on.
What do you define as big money? Big money to me is 250k. Big money to sports players changes over time as the industry makes more and more money.
What do you mean spend someone else's money? The...
Also this comment is just plain stupid. You can debate if it is worth paying the money but to say that he would be close to worthless is wrong. Davis at guard and possibly tackle would help our team. It would at the very least add depth. Our oline is not so good now and if we were to lose anyone...
Don't get your point Shogun. Are players getting paid too much compared to the average person? Yes, probably, but that's not the point.
The point is the League is making billions of dollars and making more every year. When profits go up they make more money available to the players.
Some...
I think things need to be put into perspective. Right now the NFL is making Billions. Teams are making more money than ever before, including the Cardinals. Because of this the salary cap has gone up. Teams are resigning most of their very good players and average free agents are the only ones...
I've been listening on Fox Sports for awhile now and they discussed the game but the radio guy say they would be talking about Green and if he should be let go but it seemed to me that he thought it wouldn't happen. I hope that's wrong, I think it's time to get rid of Green.
Those guys hardly know anything about the Cardinals themselves it amazes me how little talk show guys need to know. They don't even need to watch the games or know all of the players!
I'm going with 9-7 :koolaid: I hate it when people don't give you enough options..especially on those personality tests? Why can't you be a combination of both?!.........Back to the Cardinals
Do I get my money back if there are injuries to one of our top five players? lol. I'm still not sure of the Karma so I would need insurance with that. Also World III, terrorist attack, etc.
