What is the best strategy moving forward?

Yup. Just no one worth spending it on. The draft is the way to go. And hopefully we can continue to use our cap space to snag players like we just did with Bledsoe. Only there's going to be a number of teams with space next Summer. The Lakers will have $55Mil I think. Haven't looked up their...

    Around the League (Offseason)

I am not an expert but I follow Larry Coon on twitter and he's an expert so I listen to him talk about the CBA constantly. I know what a s&t is and I know there are new rules for s&t's in the new cba. Especially with teams over the tax. And yes Harden was traded before he became FA. He was also...

They have a C that is better than Gortat right now. Jonas Valunciunas.

What is the best strategy moving forward?

Minnesota's if their pick falls 14 or worse.

What is the best strategy moving forward?

No. 2015 and it's top 5 protected. Then top 3 protected in 2016 and 2017 and unprotected in 2018.

What is the best strategy moving forward?

I can't access the post I made detailing our financial commitments because I put it on phxsuns.net and it's been having some issues lately, but the $32M number, though maybe gettable, means cutting bait with a lot of guys for nothing in return. There's $19.2M in the expiring contracts of Butler...

    Around the League (Offseason)

You should read up on the new S&T rules. He's only eligible for 4 year deal in S&T, not 5. S&T makes no diference on the amount of money he'd be able to make in the new CBA. Only signing with and staying IN L.A. would have given him the extr $30M.

    Around the League (Offseason)

I don't believe for one second he waffled. I think this is all twitter reporters and ESPN/Yahoo guys trying to one up each other to be the first to report for the almighty page clicks. His image is already so bad that everyone believes it. I don't.

LeBron isn't going there. Have you taken a look at who else is available? Deng, Granger, and Bogut along with older guys like Dirk, and the Lakers own Paul Gasol and Kobe Bryant. This isn't the Summer of '10.

    Gortat To SA?

I know right. You may be able to do Gortat for Thompson (who pulled down 9 boards a game last year) if you throw in another asset like Marshall or a Morris, but to think they'd give us Waiters AND a pick is kind cray.

    Strategy and Len

How on earth are we predicting career success including all star births and **** for a guy that hasn't even had an NBA practice? It's like pissing in the wind. Can we at least see them on the court first?

But Roberts isn't a PG either. Rivers did all the ball handling when General Grievis was on the bench and kind of split duties with Grievis handling the ball during the first half of the season. How does 82 games get their stats to know who is playing PG? Pull it off the ESPN box score?

That's not true. At least it wasn't for the games I went to and watched.

    Suns 2013 Free Agency

L.A. pick is 2015. The only way we'll get a 2nd 1st rounder next year is if Minnesota makes the playoffs. Or of course if we acquire another in a trade.

Rivers wasn't very good but I have to tell ya... it was in large part the Hornets fault for trying to make him a PG. There was no backup PG on the roster so he was kind of it by default. I would be surprised if he didn't make vast improvements in the next couple years. You can tell he has all...

Isn't it obvious he thinks so? If he beats that drum as loudly as the Beasley one it's gonna get old real fast.

Not very at all, because Josh Childress still counts towards our salary floor every season till he would have been off the books (but not the cap obviously).

Good read on the 2nd rd pick Alex Oriakhi

Lawal was supposedly playing really well overseas and had some NBA interest last season. He played in the Italian league I think where he averaged 26 mpg, 14 ppg on 63% shooting and 8.5 rpg. I kind of half expect to see him in the league at some point.

Funny, that was my immediate comparison as well. Collins: 6' 7.5" w/ out shoes, 7' 4.5" wingspan, 236lbs. A.O.: 6' 8" w/ out shoes, 7' 3.75" wingspan, 258lbs. A little shorter wingspan but a much bigger load to handle with 20 more lbs.

I like it. He was described as a high motor player that had a great rebounding rate in college. Exactly what we need because basically all our big men run cool.

    The Roster as it Stands.

I think it's for use in trade purposes. Plus he's actually the only pure 2 on the roster. We have guys that can play the 2 but he's the one that's actually best suited for it. (Although ESPN, notoriously wrong on player positions, lists him as a PG, lol) The first half of the Season he averaged...

Should the Suns sign Iguodala or JR Smith?

No. Anyways, Iggy is either staying in Denver (not too likely) or going to NOLA with Jrue.
