    Gannon roasted for pep talk

Just curious...ever coached a team? If so, how about sharing some of the motivational sayings or stuff you put out that really got the going. I coached both soccer and basketball so I will appreciate your thoughts....particularly if you had a group you knew darn well would be like rolling a...

Simmons traded to Giants for a 7th

The trade of Simmons virtually in the midst of a practice 1200 miles from home is known as a "Wakeup Call" to all the campers Notice that todays practice is a bit crisper than a sleepwalking session.

Should Patriots target lineman Josh Jones in trade with Cardinals?

Funny how a team can recently have an OL with more holes than a piece of cheesecloth and suddenly you have valuable assets sitting around!

The News of the Game - PS Chiefs

Wonder who was the biggest supporter of Tune? If he was a scout from the Keim regime, l hope he is kept aboard. I am in total agreement so far he looks like he has the goods.

2023 1st round pick is #6 Paris Johnson

Here is what I don't get at all. If the marching orders to all concerned are discipline, order, attention to detail etc etc how does management make player moves that are obvious "tanking" moves. Can the team lose an ungodly amount of games...no doubt however it will not be a result of...

Broncos at Cardinals PS gameday thread 8-11-23

In short..this game was what I would say was significant improvement and showed what a team should look like. The W/L was irrelevant but the appearance of a controlled effort stood out tremendously.

    2023 Pre-Season Week 1 vs Denver Broncos 08/11/2023

No reelection on your decisions or point of view, albeit understandable. I get a kick at out those who announce the news that exhibition games are meaningless, they could care less about them, will be bored after a few minutes, etc, etc, etc. Like who cares??? Go watch CNN or your favorite...

    10 thoughts - training camp

Well put! Before writing this note I offered one of our compatriots an opportunity to define competitive. You did it quite well. Key words (high effort to the end) will be the indicator that the team and mgt. are on the right track after last years train wreck.

Can you define what competitive is from your prospective?

    Official 2023 Cardinals Camp thread

You apparently have not recognized there are some self proclaimed experts who hang around. If they are unemployed, or just do not care to work, they should consider becoming coordinators on a pee wee (rip) league flag team and spread their expertise. I make it a point in my personal and...

    Jonathan Taylor demands trade

You said it the way I should have. Ya' know what I find educational/fun, back in the day Vince Lombardi had a TV show explaining his offense and defense..you can catch them on you tube. His going through the running game is fantastic. The league has tilted the table so much toward the passing...

    Jonathan Taylor demands trade

I think we are in the same church but a different pew. If, I repeat if, the goal is to stay competitive this year and show some real improvement over last year, I see nothing wrong in a very similar version to the old Packers offensive plan. We have what looks like a pretty decent O Line, a...

    10 thoughts - training camp

Very well said. I feel the goal as you said, should be show significant improvement of last year's nightmare. I think the thinking of developing a run game will be an important step in that direction as we find out how well KM recovers. I think he truly couldn't stand anything about KK that...

    Week 27 Arizona Cardinals Off-Season: 07/10/2023-07/16/2023

I have no plan on addressing this any further sir, but will just add one thing....again. This was the "FIRST GAME OF THE YEAR" after an entire off season and six weeks of practice and they were not ready to play. Really??????

    Week 27 Arizona Cardinals Off-Season: 07/10/2023-07/16/2023

Easy to say I told you so BUT I clearly recall KK saying (sic) that after the first game of the season, THAT'S THE FIRST GAME MIND YOU, the team was not ready to play and it was my fault. At that point if I wore the dark suit, he would have been history.

    OT: R.I.P. Jim Brown (1936-2023)

The very very best I ever saw. Many times in Yankee Stadium with arch nemesis on the other side of the ball...Sam Huff. Great hands, great blocker, fast and super difficult to tackle. Other attributes as well on the field and off. Those of us old enough to remember will surely agree.

NFL Player you Remember 1st Admiring as a Kid

As the current POTUS would say "come on man." Living in Chicago and I certainly give Walter his props, but if you saw Jim Brown play you might see the light.

Of course many us who remember Otto are on the other side of the rainbow bridge. What a winner he was!!! I don't believe he ever lost a championship game. If I recall Milt Plum was next.
