Who are we drafting first, third edition

I would be happy with any of the 1st 3, Rosen, or Jackson.

    If mayock is right...

I love Jackson, but he is a project. Rosen is not. I take Rosen in a heart beat.

Will the Cardinals draft Lamar Jackson if available @ 15?

I think Jackson would be the best pick for us but I don't think Keim has the balls to pull the trigger. On the other hand our new head coach has seen how difficult it can be to deal with a dual threat QB first hand (Cam). ... so maybe he can help sway the decision making process.

NFL>COM mock draft projections AZ Cards

He'd be a great pick though if he does.

    At 15

If Ward is there he has to be the pick, Jackson is #2 in this scenario.

    BA likes Jackson

I like Jackson as well, and hope we pick him or a top defensive prospect (preferably a db or ilb) at 15.

Trumon Williams reportedly returning to Packers

He was solid last year, was hoping we would bring him back. Need to add some cb and wr depth prior to the draft or our lack of depth at those positions will dictate our draft.

I'm not ready to panic - yet

David Johnson's return is enough of a reason to be optimistic. I'm a huge HB fan but honestly he was average at best last year and completely uninterested in tackling when it involved decent contact. We all know Bradford's injury history but if by some chance he can stay healthy. . Who knows...

    Deonne Bucannon back to DB?

Well hopefully Wilks has a clue and moves him back.

    Deonne Bucannon back to DB?

The dude is 25 years old, releasing him and not giving him a chance to play his natural position would be a huge mistake. Get a clue.
  11. BleedRed

    Deonne Bucannon back to DB?

He's carrying 20 pounds of muscle over this college playing weight, since he's playing out of position. And if my memory serves me right he's a 4.4/4.5 guy. It would be a great move. Mark my words.

    Deonne Bucannon back to DB?

    Think Earl Thomas and Kam.
  13. BleedRed

    Deonne Bucannon back to DB?

Not neccesarily, Buc would be a great strong safety, with the ability to cover TEs or support the run. Budda, can be either in the slot or a center field type FS.

    Mike Glennon a Card

Agreed, Tramon looked solid last year. Hope we can keep him cheap.
  15. BleedRed

    Deonne Bucannon back to DB?

Please! The dude will be a pro bowl safety. Have been saying it for some time now. Hopefully Wilks can see this and make it happen.

    HB has been cut

Damn, hate to see this happen but completely understand it. Was a shell of the player he was prior to injury and not worth the price tag. Wish him the best and hate to see him go.

    Meanwhile, back at ASFN...

Wouldn't expect it any other way.

    Sam Bradford A Cardinal

    Jackson at 15. Happening.
  19. BleedRed

    8-8

Furthermore they solidified their oline in the offseason last year, and Goff was considered a few years away from being able to lead that team to the playoffs, the coaching philosophies made a big difference there but besides that your other comments are just blind negativity.
  20. BleedRed

    8-8

We were a top 10 defense last year, the rams were not. ... I take a healthy DJ over Gurley any day of the week. Their o line is the only glaring strength they have on us besides QB at the moment.
  21. BleedRed

    8-8

Talent wise were second behind the rams, with the offseason to go. The Seahawks are being gutted as we speak and San Fran doesn't has much talent to speak of besides Jimmy G (just goes to show you how far good QB play will take you). I'm confident we will find a short term solution via trade...

    8-8

The funny thing is I have a buddy who is a die hard rams fan, and prior to last season he felt pretty much hopeless and like they were several years away from relevance, almost all experts agreed. You really never know when a team will take off.
  23. BleedRed

    8-8

Just wanted to remind everyone last year we were 8-8... with possibly our best player (David Johnson) missing almost the entire season, starting 3 different QBs, and several other key injuries. A few solid moves this off-season and we could easily find ourselves back in the playoffs. Don't...

Eagles Asking "King's Ransom" For Nick Foles

I'd be cool with Foles for our 2nd round pick this year, but no more then that.
  25. BleedRed

    AZ Cardinals' first round picks

Agreed, if the draft was held every year at the end of the bowl season, picks would be very different and I think teams would be making much better choices. The problem is you have months to analyze and over analyze every aspect of a player to the point that his on the field production is no...
