    Very excited about the hire! Players around the league respect him and he will get buy-in from our guys. Five years will give comfort to our players and shows some stability.

    I agree with you in that this team will be fine with average pg play. This team is already rounding the corner on their play with an average pg. Just imaging what this team would look like with a descent pf.

    It was unknown as to why he withdrew his name. We can only speculate as to why. If the Suns interviewed him, then they obviously had interest.

    At the end of the day you are left interviewing assistant coaches and ones that were fired like Fizdale and Clifford. What coaches with a winning percentage and tons of experience did the Suns have a shot at getting?

    This is a young team, so I expect growing pains and mistakes. Same thing goes with the coach. He is inexperienced so I expect growing pains and mistakes to be made. I’m actually quite pleased with their recent play as they are showing some heart and hustle each game despite missing a true PG.

    There’s no comparison with Booker getting injured and playing the point. I think the injury occurred while taking a charge. Maybe leadership should not have him play defense in fear of further injuries.
