    It didn't make them worse, at least not the year it happened. While pick and roll defense may have gotten worse, the team's ability to rebound and play straight up defense improved dramatically. As for chemistry problems, there really weren't any once Marion was shipped out, and the decline...

    All Kerr really did was hasten the demise that was already happening. The team peaked in 06-07, didn't get it done, and was going downhill from there. A lack of draft picks in previous years ensured that. But people act like Kerr wrecked the team, and that simply isn't true.
