    Who knows how it'll turn out, but a LOT of those same things were said when the signed Randy Johnson too. Unquestionably. Remember Schilling was a trade. They made a big deal about Richie Sexson when he signed, but that whole thing was a bust.

    If ASU is in the playoffs I suppose he'll be in the conversation. But the last 5 Heismans have gone to running QBs. It seems hard to imagine a pocket guy like Berco would win, even if he put up big numbers, when another QB put up equally big numbers and ran for a few hundred yards too...

    UofA plays an easy non conference schedule, returns very good players at RB,QB, WR and LB, they play Oregon St and Washington St from the north and get UCLA and Utah at home, and get one of their road games at Colorado. There's really no reason they should win less than 8 games at worst.

    I'd do it in a second. Ilyasova isn't great, but Markieff needs to go. However, the Pistons likely know the Suns are desperate so we'd be lucky to get something of that much value in return. Ilyasova can space the floor w/ a decent 3 point shot and is on a reasonable contract.

    These guys aren't unlikeable because they don't win, or don't have a high ceiling (though those things don't help). They're unlikable as people. They bash the fans, moan on the court, don't hustle all the time, get DUI's and now get assaults. Bleck.
