These are all really good points, and explain being so below the cap. Ultimately, Monti and JG look like great hires, and each have filled out their staffs very respectably. Michael B still digging out from self-inflicted wounds with too much loyalty to Keim and too much $ to Kliff is not a...
If someone should come across a link for us out of town fans, well you know....
Curious to watch the RBs and WRs, those are some deeply talented rooms, with some very tough cuts to be made. Also, if BOTH Ridder and Tune do not look great, I wonder if Monti will go shopping again.
Here is the latest from Tankathon.com, great site: 2021 NFL Mock Draft | Tankathon. They have us taking Alex Leatherwood, OT from Alabama. But man if we could get Kyle Pitts that would be incredible. This League is all about offense now anyway.
Agreed on all these points. Also, why is Streveler the Leveler on the roster if not for a play were you need 6 inches?? Have him under center, with Drake giving him the Bush Push. Why snap the ball back 15 feet when you need 6 inches? But yes if you are going to snap it to Kyler he needs to use...
Drake absolutely scores if he jumps. Not only that, at least if you jump the replay will show exactly where the ball is, instead of the usual goal line replay where you can’t see the ball due to the mass of humanity.
Emmitt Smith used to jump over the pile all the time in his younger days. I...
Between the Cards blowing that game, and various painful wagering losses, this was the first chuckle I had all day. Imagine playing for a 45 yard Zane FG attempt like it was a sure thing? Ugh.
Nice article on Steven Gonzalez, Guard from Penn State. Dude is huge, started 42 games:https://onwardstate.com/2020/04/25/penn-state-footballs-steven-gonzalez-signs-with-arizona-cardinals-as-undrafted-free-agent/
Yeah, I am thrilled for Andy and him not going out of bounds after that catch was rather impressive. That being said, with what D.K. Metcalf is doing thus far, KK has to get Andy more involved. It sure seemed like that was KK's pick more than Keim.
Yeah, I was thinking about this today as well. Given how the past 40 years I have been watching this team have gone, this seems quite likely actually. Would be a nice parting “gift” from Wilks on the way out.
Just curious, are you saying the first tie-breaker is NOT opponent's strength of schedule? I will find and post that rules link for you if needed. Right now, the Cardinals have played the "easier" schedule, and therefore would pick 1st overall if the regular season ended after tonight's game.
That's because the official NFL site does not even bother to list opponent's winning percentage, which is the first tie-breaker for draft position. Honestly, it looks like the NFL site is listing tied teams in alphabetical order, which is comical. Must have been set up by an intern.
That "Tankathon" site is really good. So many people went on that site right after the 9ers won the site briefly crashed. Yes, the Cards appear to be a lock for #1 overall. One would think event we couldn't blow that pick, but what we do at the top of the 2nd and 3rd rounds will really be...
I should add that the last Cardinals game I attended in person, Ted Ginn Jr. actually made a play to help us win, so maybe I am good luck?!

So, work brings me out to LA this weekend (for the Chuck Liddell vs. Tito Ortiz fight at the Forum), and I am going to stay an extra day to check out the Cardinals game at the Chargers. At this point I am attending solo, but I am hoping to have someone I know in LA join me for the game. Are any...
Yeah, this is how I see the DJ situation. I agree with Russ that DJ did appear to miss one very good cutback opportunity, but overall I consider this entire thread Much Ado About Nothing.
