    With our 1st pick........Clint Sintim?

I'd rather have Connor Barwin. I think he's going to make a great transition to OLB, and will be much like Mike Vrabel goal line TE as well

    Matt Cassel traded to Chiefs

Parcells and Ireland traded a 4th rounder to Dallas last year for Akin Ayodele and Anthony Fasano this kind of thing is much more common when you're trading with front offices that you know

Falcons | Team releases S Lawyer Milloy

the guy is finished....he said that he wanted to end his career at home in Seattle, but I dont think that Ruskell will consider him

if breaston was our EVERDAY #2 WR...

Steve and Larry are the same age I certainly hope the wasted 2008 season isn't all Early can offer, or they're in trouble. he has to make it a priority to make himself less susceptible to injury this year, and battle for the #3 slot if Anquan is traded

We Will Know What the Coaches Really Think of St. Pierre When...

in this case, its actually really just his love for all players BC. He's in Massachusetts, its expected. he wanted the Cards to pick up Kevin Challenger and Andre Callendar when they were draft eligible too

Why Certain Decisions Have to be Made

Bert played out his contract...they might bring him back for a vet minimum deal as for Leinart, because he participated in a certain amount of snaps in 06, he hit escalators

Steelers grant permission for Cards to interview Butler

thats great. Nice to see Tomlin not take the Gruden stance. after his abysmal performance in Cleveland, losing Carthon isnt a loss at all

My Off-Season Plan: Cardinals Are Hot

he definitely likes him...thats for sure he's a BC guy, and thats fine that he biased for him, but if St. Pierre had ANY talent at all, he would have made something, anything of his career since coming into the league in 02. he just isnt good. while I completely agree, it seems that many...

Davis looks to be Cards Choice for DC

3-4...full fledged I'm assuming but I dont know if it would be a "Blitzburgh" type defense he and Nolan ran a 3-4 in SF, he was the OLB coach in Carolina with Capers, and directly from his bio he has pretty much spent all of his time in the 3-4 except with the Giants in 04

Not Sure Steelers Would Grant Permission

Gruden was an ass, that is definitely true. Marinelli was pissed beyond belief that he wouldn't let Barry out a year early....he haid to wait a year before he could be the DC (not that that worked out too well) lets hope that he does get to interview...maybe the Rooneys prevented Butler in 07...

Not Sure Steelers Would Grant Permission

incorrect. Tomlin's Bucs contract had to expire before he could leave. Gruden was that way with all of his assistants (Tomlin and Joe Barry to name a few) http://nfl.fanhouse.com/2007/01/17/mike-tomlin-is-not-a-token-interview/

Not Sure Steelers Would Grant Permission

there are other cases of teams doing this, but then you have teams like PHI, who for all the flak he gets, Reid lets all of his assistants go on to bigger and better things (Shurmur this year to STL)

Not Sure Steelers Would Grant Permission

I wasn't even looking for sarcasm, I was just pointing the fact out for other people who might be reading this thread who might be confused as to what promotions can be blocked, and which couldn't. I'm sure he has somebody in mind, of that I have no doubt. I would be shocked however for a...

Not Sure Steelers Would Grant Permission

like the Bucs in previous years with their multitude of assistants they kept there? if he really is the heir apparent, Pittsburgh can refuse to give permission if they so choose. the only promotion that a team can't block is a HC opportunity.

How Long have you been a Fan of the Cardinals?

started casually following them in 2003 (went to FSU with Q and Darnell), and their new logo and unis caught my eye in 05, and have been following them much more strongly since. certainly not ashamed to admit it though

A note to future playoff teams....Do Not Get HFA!

its amazing how having momentum coming into the playoffs and playing on Wild Card weekend makes the difference. EVERY team with a bye has come out horribly flat. playing that extra week makes all the difference in the world!

    A Question About the Snow

so every player on the Cards roster has never played in the snow, ever? not in college, not on another team in the league before they signed here?

Lucky for us we didn't let Clancy go

I wonder how many division winners there have been that scored less than they gave up. and have any other teams given up over 400 points and still won their division?

It seems like everyone is concerned with the weather back east

I think its entirely possible it'll be Carolina. ATL will beat STL in the Georgia Dome, and I think that its quite possible NO beats the Panthers in the Superdome

Don Banks weighs in on Warner

probably not very well he's nowhere near the natural passer that Kurt is, and his mechanics leave a lot to be desired

This is a real minor gripe but.....

those creamsicle unis were great. they were very original in 1976, and still were pretty nice in Dungy's first year in 96 I loved that color scheme
