Yeah, we shouldn't be happy that our team won and post about it in a related thread. What's your agenda to come in here and start crap? Get real.

BTW.. You know whats pretty damn sad? Once I saw that the Lakers won it all, I thought to myself "man Im staying off ASFN tonight so I dont have to read all them jackasses posts". .. Then I thought why the hell would I let opposing teams fans run me off? And then I thought, Im not what youd call very coordial anyways, I might as well go say hi.. :D

Ya I dunno man.. What ever has come over me? I mean, I thought I was at an ARIZONA sports site..

Not every single thread on here is about Arizona sports. If you don't like the team/teams being discussed - you don't have to look in those non-Az threads...

Most Lakers fans that post here are cool, level-headed guys. Congrats for the title!

Magics with a healthy Nelson might have given the Lakers a tougher fight. But Dwight is just a 2nd banana like KG who needs a really good 1st scoring banana to win it. Sad that opposition has been so weak for this title of Laker.

Love the way they closed it out on the first chance.

The Magic players sitting on the bench watching reminds me of the Lakers watching Boston celebrate last year; wonder if it will become the Magic's singular motivation for next season. East is going to be tough next year with the Magic still good, Cavs and a healthy Boston.

They better pony up the bucks to keep Turkoglu if they want to stay good next year. He will be highly courted in the off-season...

I love Magic Johnson for what he has done for the league and how good of a person he is, but is biased love affair with the Lakers has gotten a bit overwhelming...what the hell, the Staples Center with a Kobe statue? I understand your team just won the title, but get a grip. Kobe, thus far, cannot be statue worthy. All-time best Laker? That is debateable too...

Dude, he's a part owner of the franchise.

He shouldn't be commentating in the first place.

Then why is he commentating? Serves no purpose, he is extremely biased.

Watch Inside the NBA when they have Magic on. He's one of the first people to call out the Lakers when they are playing bad, and on more then one occasion he's picked the other team to win the game. As usual, you're just talking out of your hatred for the Lakers and nothing else. You have absolutely no place calling anyone biased.

As far as the statue goes, there are statues of many Laker greats outside the Staples center. Kobe belongs in that group without question. The best Laker ever? That he is not.

No, I clearly see him kissing the ass of the Lakers almost everytime I catch him on ESPN or something, plus...there could be the arguement that if Kobe gets a statue, Shaq should too...

A very valid argument could be made for Shaq as well. He was a great Laker and the key part of a three title run. The only thing that might keep that from happening is the terms on which he left. No doubt though that Shaq was a great Laker. He played his best years in LA.

Hey, welcome back. And to answer your question, no, I don't expect the Suns to win a title during my lifetime. That's a shame, but I'll try to keep it in perspective.
