It's kind of odd that the supposedly best team the Cavs, the team with the best regular season record, lost the seaon series to 3 other top teams: Lakers, Celtics, and Magic.

The Lakers swept the Celtics and Cavs, and got swept by the Magic.

The Magic are no joke.

It's funny to me that everyone is hyping Mello and how he should be mentioned in the same sentance with Lebron and Kobe - which of course is a complete joke... IMO, it's Howard that should be mentioned in that sentance before Mello... Howard is a beast and while the refs are clearly doing all they can to get Bron-Bron into the finals at the expense of the Magic and Howard, Dwight is taking this team on his back and willing them to an upset... Great, gutty performances by Superman... ;)

Mo Williams, man...I don't know if you saw that postgame with him, but he needs to be kept away from sharp objects.

Yikes.

That was the worst call I've seen yet in the playoffs.

And that is really saying something.

The refs are simply atrocious this year, my goodness. And it seems every day the league is rescinding a call or adding something to another.

I was listening to this game on the radio so I still haven't seen the call, but there is no way that it was worse than game 3 when Howard blocked Lebron's 3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3kwhi1twVO0&feature=popular

definitely the worst non-Spurs/non-"Luke Walton's foot on the line" call I've ever seen.

Cavs are done.

Magic will win the series, go on to the finals, face the Lakers and win the title in 5 games. Congrats in advance to the Magic, they deserve it.

When one makes the almighty "guarantee" before the game and it comes back to bite, he should be put on 24 hour suicide watch.

How you feeling about the magic vs. lakers? I know in the past you said the magic would win. I think it'll be a hell of a series.

Despite my hate of the lakers i'd still pick them because of home court. The key matchup would be rashard vs. gasol, can gasol punish him on the post or will rashard tear him up on the perimeter?

And don't sleep on pietrus, he'll make kobe work, just like he is with lebron now.

"Yeah, we're down 1-2 but there's nobody on this team ... that thinks we're not going to win the series," Williams said. "Yeah, it's going to be tough. We know that. We get this game tomorrow and we go home, we have homecourt advantage. We don't see ourselves losing two out of three at home."

Disneyworld vs. Disneyland.

ABC ( aka DisneyCorp ) does the finals coverage. See a pattern here?:shock:

It sure will take the surprise value away from the winner's "I'm going to DisneyPlace!" declaration.

If the Cavaliers are indeed stopped in this round, it's good news for the Suns, because it makes it more likely that Cleveland will pursue O'Neal in the offseason.

If you are being mentioned as the greatest of all time, you don't bring that weak sauce.

He was barely even in the act of shooting.

LeBron makes some truly great shots, but that play and eight turnovers?

Not the greatest. Not even close to MJ. Or even Kobe. Or Magic or Bird. Or even Kareem, Hakeem. Or Duncan.

In my opinion.

but he runs a flying wedge down the lane brilliantly. Maybe some day they will require him to dribble while doing that.

Maybe. What kind of stupid offense is that anyway? Every year they talk about the supporting cast. It seems it might be there, but they have no intention of using it in crunch time.

Last night, after that charge call, I said "that ref's whole life has been a waste."

Harsh I know, but I crack myself up.

It is not an offense. It is watch LeBron. What I enjoy watching is Hedo. The guy gets no accolades, yet he is the freak. 6"10" PG. Drives, dishes, posts up, brings the ball up the court, plays defense, shoots from outside, et al. What is missing from his game? Nothing.

Does he have any commercials? No? Then he gets no accolades, no calls.

Turk is a highly underrated player imo, the Magic team is very good they have Howard down low and a team full of guys that can kill you from the outside...very dangerous to any opponent.

BTW, how does Mike Brown get Coach of the Year? From what I can tell, his duties are to call time outs and make sure LeBron gets 2 minutes of bench each half.

He didn't even do that. LBJ didn't have any rest in the entire second half.

How is Turkoglu underrated? He's underrated like Marion and David West are underrated. He may be underpaid, but I don't know about underrated.

Good point. Turkoglu has a big contract, if I remember correctly.
