Hey, I ALWAYS look at the BRIGHT side of things! WHY?? Because hanging your head, and complaining, ONLY makes you feel worse. So, what's the point?? We showed today WHY we're a GOOD team. We refused to QUIT! We still scored close to (30) points on the what's considered the BEST team in football. Are there areas to "clean-up" as Coach Whiz' often says?? ABSOLUTELY! We have to get better special-teams coverage. Somehow. Someway. FIX IT! The "D" over-all hung in there BUT you CANNOT give the other team the ball (4) times on your side of the field! JUST CAN'T DO IT!! ...And HURRY back Rod Hood! Eric Green is just horrid! Always around the ball but NEVER making the play. An INT zips thru his hands; and for some reason none of us can figure out he just won't turn his head around when the ball's in the air. But, again, the Seahawks went down. So did the 49ers. The 1st GOAL was to WIN the WEST and make the Play-offs. That goal is well with-in reach. So, hold your heads up my friends. There's STILL ALOT to be HAPPY about! GO CARDS!

Announcers said they need a win and a SF loss ... but I'm thinking they just need one win. Which is correct?

We need a win and a SF loss next week.

Or two losses by SF will mathmatically eliminate them.

To win the division today we needed

1) a win vs the Giants
2) A SF loss
3) A Seattle loss or tie

2 and 3 happened but we still need to win a game to clinch the division (or another SF loss whichever happens first)

We need 1 win OR a loss by the 49ers. A 49ers loss would drop them to 3-9. The worst we could be is 7-9 and we own the tiebraker.
I would rather beat the Eagles to clinch, but that is our reward for winning earlt in the season.

Most likely, we win on Thursday... I really hope so. Watching Eagles game today, they were horrendous. We better not lose to this crappy team.

49ers play at Buffalo next week. No way they win that game. Even if we slip in Philly, we'll have the division by this time next week.

I'm confident we'll have it on Thursday night. The turkey is going to taste extra good!

The magic number is 1. If we win, we're in. If SF and Seattle lose, we're in.
