Sad thing is, we knew this last year whenever bettcher tried it.

It's clear that the coaching staff on both offense and defense did little to no scouting of their personnel from prior years. This team has always struggled in zone and that's all they're doing. We have D-Linemen who were drafted to occupy blockers, now being asked to penetrate. Linebackers who were drafted to make plays in space now being asked to fill holes. On offense, the running scheme being utilized is the antithesis of David Johnson's skill set. He needs zone blocking, he needs to move laterally and cut up field, and instead they're running him straight ahead with power blocking like he's Ezekiel Elliot.

I loved BA except for the fact I felt like he was content being a good HC instead of a great HC and thought it was time for a new coach to come build on what his successes and take us to a new level. BA did a lot of good here but also wanted to do it his way, get people paid who didn't deserve it... too much enjoy it instead of grind it to get to the elite level.

Wilks and Co could have come in and kept all of the same the schemes and been around a .500 team, but they wanted to take a solid team and shake all of the pieces up instead of building on something good. They screwed the pooch trying to put their fingerprints all over it, piss off the players, and just ruin the good part of the culture that we had.

Basically the only chance of turning this around is mutiny by the players and let the coaches know what is going to work because clearly the coaches are out of their depth.

Damn I wish we had BA and crew back here.

Why in the world would you come in and completely change the Offensive and defensive philosophy that worked so well during the Arians regime?

I am certainly no expert but we drafted players to fit a certain style and they became very good players. Our Coach retires and we change the style.

It really is as dumb as it gets.

Wilks really appears to big a big talker but clueless.

Arians made Keim look like a competent GM. He has been horrible.

No need to pile on anymore. I doubt I will watch another game.

Let's hope the Suns give us something to root for. At least they are off to a good start.
