2 of the 3 winning seasons have been the past 2 years, so this has been the best time to be a Cardinals fan. I won't cheer for them to lose, but if they do, my hope is that this is our "Tim Duncan" season, where a perfectly timed slump lands us a franchise cornerstone.

Ehh....everybody has an off year. It's the NFL. It happens. Just look at the division winners from last year: Vikings, Bengals, Cowboys.....all with equal or worse records that us.

Remember, just last (calendar) year we were in the Super Bowl. I've got a little more patience than that. When we start slinging multiple losing seasons together again, then I'll worry.

For me it is 6-7 winning seasons in the 35+ years I have been a fan of this team. But I will still be a fan until they put me 6 ft under.

The problem is that the Cards have "off" decades.

Why? Wasn't Clyde Duncan good enough?

So...you are counting the 8-8 seasons as losing seasons?

Technically, they aren't winning or losing... :D

Not fun except to see who is the real fan and who jumps off the band wagon.....

kind of like a parent - you love your kids even if they screw-up. A parent can react to a stupid move and get pissed, yell, throw a fit but will still embrace their youngster and not toss them to the curb.

Other than that, you get into too much psychology :)

Good answer because to some, a 'real fan' is someone who never, ever criticizes their team no matter what.
