If the series ends in 6, the soonest the next round would begin is next Saturday. If it goes 7, it could begin next Monday or Tuesday. Even though there are some real disadvantages in waiting around that long, with the way the Suns play, a well rested Suns team is going to have a huge advantage over whichever tired team comes out of this series.

Good for Dallas  Drag it out, If Dallas wins game 5 they might just sweep it in game 6. either way its good for us.

Whichever team wins this series now will have gone through a lot, which should play to our advantage.

Unless of course it takes us a few games to close out.

I really don't think there's any team that could keep Amare Stoudemire from going nuts over a seven-game series.

Joe Mama[/QUOTE]

I hate to correct you, because hindsight is 20/20. Memphis may have struggled with Amare in games 2, 3, and 4, but they took him out of his game in game 1. Add that game to games 5, 6, and 7,where they found a way to keep him from scoring at all, and they SEVERELY limited his scoring in the majority of the games.

Van Gundy can't be happy after this one.

Yeah - both feet were out of bounds on that play and the Refs somehow managed to miss the call (with Stern in the stands no less!!) - strange.

As I said on the other thread I don't care who the Suns face.

I do hope Dallas wins tonight so we can get the Suns back on the court for a real game ASAP.

If Dallas does win tonight does anyone know when Game 1 would be?

I've heard Saturday or Sunday.

Game 7 is now on Sat which means game 1 of second round will most likely be on Tuesday.

Mavs lost the game in the 4th the same way we lost ours at home vs the Rockets. They were repeatedly denied in the paint and TMac couldnt be stopped. In addition, James and Barry came out big in the fourth. I really don't like the perspective of M. James harassing Nash in the 4th. So, go Mavs! :D

Wonder if VanGundy is going to complain about the refs in this one?

Dallas wins by 40. Outscores Houston in EVERY quarter. Outscores them 24-12 in the 4th. Houston simply quits.

Aw, we don't get Mutombo in the second round. I was wanting to watch what he was going to do to humiliate the Suns.
