2 Opening Game Suns Tickets Giveaway

We are giving away 2 tickets to the opening game vs Lakers on Wednesday, Oct the 29th. The giveaway will end at 12 AM on Monday (Oct 27th). How this will work is:

-Need to have at LEAST 50 post by 12 AM, Monday (27th).

-We will select a random post between now and the Oct 27th deadline.

-Winner will be notified on this thread and will also be PM'd (private messaged).

-If winner does not accept the tickets within a 24 hr period, we will select a new post.

-Posts can be anywhere on the forum, doesn't have to just be in the Phoenix Suns section.

-Lastly, post cannot be a hi, lol, smiley face, etc.. The post has to have some sort of literature associated with the thread.

The tickets are located in Section 107, row 28, seats 7 and 8.

We will be doing more of these types of giveaways in the future, so this will be our first go at it.

Where will the random post be selected from, I don't mean specifically as you said random but I'm asking if it will be selected from the Suns forum, Smack Shack, or anywhere on ASFN message board? Or is it limited to a random post from this thread?

I think this is a great idea for this site but I don't think the rules are that clear on how someone is entered.

Most message board giveaways are set up like this: Create a giveaway thread and specify who can enter. Set an end date and select a random post from the giveaway thread - aka THIS thread.

Lol. We can see how this giveaway goes and figure out if there is a better way of doing it.

The only other board I frequent is a Sweepstakes board as I enter/win a lot of contests. They usually limit the giveaway to the one thread (so the people interested in the prize are those with their names in the proverbial hat) and have people comment as often as they like during the contest period. At the end of the time - they use a "randomizer" to select a number and award the prize to the poster of that numbered post.

PS If I win, I am giving the tickets to my old high school to give away. Acutally, one of my old teachers to use as a prize in class for someone who deserves it. He spends a ton of cash out of his own pocket and is also the Girls basketball coach.
