I just looked at the rosters and how in the world did DeAngelo Hall make the pro bowl :doi: ? I'll bet that he has given up the most yards by any DB in the league this year. I wonder if they keep that stat. I don't even know how he got the reputation of a good CB. Running your mouth must do wonders because that's the only thing he's good at.

He can take getting spat in the face well too.

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet but I found this interesting.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/story?columnist=clayton_john&id=2702877

"Terrell Owens was third among receivers with 389,279 votes, but Donald Driver (Packers) and Anquan Boldin (Cardinals), who weren't even in the top five in fan voting, got enough support from players and coaches to earn a trip to Hawaii."

Although Owens got the fan votes he is so not respected by his peers that he still didnt make the pro bowl, not even sure if he is an alternate.

And Boldin did not make the pro bowl based off of fan votes but rather by the respect of his peers and coaches.

No, the Pro Bowl has never been about the better player. It's a popularity contest. Always has been.

And Taylor hasn't been better. He's been mediocre, overpaid, and overhyped like everyone else on that Redskins defense.

Disagree. Considering Taylor can't even breathe on someone without getting a personal foul I think he's been great. He does it all, he's the one safety that is not only a big hitter, but that teams actually worry about in coverage. Hell he even caused 3 fumbles this year and the way the Redskins play he almost NEVER gets to blitz, imagine the impact he'd have if he played in a system that blitzed him. He has 24 more tackles this year than last year, in 1 less game.

But he is controversial and I'm sure that's why he didn't get in.
