I think SF is 3-6 with Smith starting this season. 3-7 after Sunday.
So Alex started against Atlanta and St. Louis? That would make him 4-5 as a starter.....I could've sworn his first start was against the Colts.:|

Overall, Smith has about a 40% winning percentage as a starter in the NFL.
Actually it's around 60%.

And Hill was .500 when yanked in favor of Smith. Your point?
Someone said Smith was 3-7 as a starter this season. which he is not.
Smith is 3-4 without any without practicing with the #1 team, during the offseason.
Comprende?

1st year (2-5)
2nd (7-9)
3rd (He had a 2-1 record, before he broke his shoulder, played through the pain.)
4th year still injured, didn't play single game.
5th year (3-4)...this is the best team he has ever played on

That would make his winning percentage 43%, not the 60% that you claimed.

But feel free to continue to make stuff up if it helps you feel better about your "franchise" QB.

3-3>3-4 ;)

Hill>Smith

Plus, the three games that the Whiners won that Smith started (CHI, JAX, AZ) they would have won those games under Hill also. They won those games because of defense, not anything Smith did.

If Hill had started against Indy and Seattle, maybe they win those games. Even one TD drive in the second half of those games probably would have led to a SF win, but Smith didn't do squat in the second half of either game.

Of course Ronin and Singletary would go out of their way to make excuses for Smith and blame Gore, the WR's, Davis etc., but the fact is that Smith didn't get it done and hasn't over his career.

If Hill had been the starter all season, SF is probably 7-6 or 8-5 right now. I hope SF signs Smith to a looong extension this offseason.

You really don't realize how hill hampered the offense do you?
7-6?
8-5?
Based on what?

Ditto.
Because Everybody in SF knows Alex isn't the answer right?

That was an opinion. Anybody with half a brain knows that using the word "everybody" is merely an intentional exaggeration for effect.

It isn't the same as claiming that Smith has a 60% winning percentage when two post earlier you gave evidence that it was 43%. That's just, well, funny!

Hill is a better leader and a winner. What does Smith actually bring to the table other than more arm strength?

The 49ers ran the same run play all game. they just design the play different but ran the same counter play to the right side.

oh man, Jimmy Raye is going to have to come up with more than 1 run play against the Eagles.
It worked against the Cards, but it won't work against the Eagles.

It's Irrelevant....most of his wins where when the season was already over.
He couldn't move the offense at all.(this season)

Are you talking about Hill or Smith? The next meaningful game that Smith wins will be his first.

Enjoy continued irrelevance, Whiner fans. Hopefully, that extension for Smith will come soon after the end of your season, meaning now.

:D

For all those clever SF fans who constantly refer to the Cardinals as the 'Tards'. That one was for you!

Also, Whiner players and coaches you are going to need this for the playoffs. Again.
