March Madness right now, hardly any interest since we only have 3 second round picks as of right now.

Might find a gem though, some solid bench players like Blair or Thornton in last years draft.

However the guy I want is Xavier Henry, with Kansas early exit and Henry's disappointing 2nd half of his freshman season he might fall into the 16-24 range if he declares.

Hope we could trade up or "cough" buy a pick to get him.

Other than that I am a big fan of the big 3 Wall, Cousins and Turner, it's a good draft to have a top 3 pick. The only one I could see cracking that top 3 is Hassan Whiteside.

It's too bad Turner didn't come out last year, he was the guy I really really wanted with our pick and his stock wasn't as high then.

James Anderson, or Dominique Jones will be my choice in the high teens, low 20's range. Hopefully we could package Barbosa in a trade to get that pick. If we get a higher pick, I would definatly draft Demarcus Cousins.

I like Greg Monroe, smooth all around game. Or Cole Aldrich, would compliment Lopez in the post.

I like Ekpe Udoh! Long defender, great size, solid passer, blocks shots, rebounds, decent range, etc. - maybe not the athlete that I prefer but he has some talent.

All i know is Earl Clark plays like he has down syndrome and talks like it as well. He may be an average starter some day..

Wes Johnson fits on this team better than anyone. Long 6-7 wing who can stroke, play D, and is probably the most athletic in the draft.

According to NBADraft.net we only have one second rounder which is likely to be the last pick in the draft (Cleveland's). Our own second rounder is going to Charlotte as part of the Jason Richardson deal although there is some sort of protection on it. Considering our record, I doubt we'll be keeping it. I'm not sure where you are getting the third pick from.

Outside of Evan Turner and John Wall, this draft class is meh.:bigyawn:
Lol there's a lot of players I wouldn't touch (like Kalin Lucas:computer:), But maybe I'll be proving wrong once again.

After watching John Wall play a lot, I don't see the hype. I can see Wall struggling in the NBA for a while and people who said he is the biggest thing after Lebron is just wrong. Rose looks like a better PG than Wall and Wall is too small to be a SG.

DeMarcus Cousins is just huge. I know the Suns have no shot at Cousins so I'm not even going to go there. The rest of the draft is bleh. I'd trade the first rounder and save the money this year.

Ummm what?

John Wall is a much more natural PG and passer than Rose ever was. It's no surprise he puts up better numbers than Rose all across the board. He is also longer than Rose and at least as athletic. He has quicker hands and is a lot more active defensively.

John Wall will easily win ROY as long as he starts because he will have the ball in his hand and few will be able to defend him because of his quickness.

I wonder what games you have watched because Wall has been simply outstanding including game-winners, game-saving blocks etc.

Wall is like a young Jason Kidd in that he can impact the game in so many ways. That he's also an effective scorer is just a plus. I didn't invent the phrase but I wholeheartedly agree that "John Wall is the most athletic college point guard to ever play the game". I'm not saying he doesn't need polishing but barring injury I can't see him being less than a 3rd team all-NBA in a few years. He is not Lebron but he's still special.

Wall also airballed the game winner against Mississippi. :|
Rose never played with a Cousins type player.
Least Wall can dance better than Rose.:p

I don't know how that is an advantage for Wall right now. Take Cousins away and I think Wall stats go up in every category.

Look what happened to Nash when the Suns added Shaq. A low post big man that takes a lot of touches isn't beneficial to a PG that can run the break etc. Wall would be putting up monster numbers on a lesser talented team with some shooters.

Kentucky on the brink of elimination. Wall trying to get them back.

Too bad, West Virginia really isn't the better team it is just a matter of one team being hot from 3 and the other being absolutely cold.

My hope would be that if we lose Amare we would get a high enough pick for Cousins in a sign and trade with a team like Golden State or New Jersey for example.

Like I said I am a big fan of Cousins, Wall and Turner.

But I also love Xavier Henry and we really need a SG of the future. I think Henry might be a bit of a project but he is the youngest player in college I think and a good kid. I'd love to get him somehow if he slides. I also like Hassan Whiteside as a project.

I don't really like anyone else in particular in this years draft class. I liked Greg Monroe last year he'd be #5 on my board.

I read somewhere earlier today that Kentucky would be in trouble this game. Somebody must have known something about this match up with West Virginia. Anyway right now it's still a game.

That's probably my "favorites" of the current college players and would be my draft board. Hope we can get picks in the #12-24 range if one of those guys is available somehow.

I really haven't stayed on top of this draft since the KT trade. Too bad the Suns won't have a first round pick. I'm not even sure if the Suns have one second round pick or three. It seems the Suns would give Paul Coro at azcentral this information to put out there for the fans.

I don't really care about the 2nd round this year whether we have 1 or 3 2nd rounders. Last year there was Blair and Buddinger and some other interesting 2nd round prospects.

This year I am not a fan of any projected 2nd rounder at this point. Our best bet is probably some european players nobody knows a whole lot about or some talented "projects" declaring too early for their own good.

Miami's 2 first round picks in a sign and trade with Amare or something could maybe net us Xavier Henry and Hassan Whiteside.

Miami picks at #15,#16 right now and draftexpress projects Henry at #14 and Whiteside at #18.

i think I would alot more than just 2 mid- first round picks for an All-NBA first team, multiple all star power forward

How many times did John Wall get lost on defense? I saw the player that Wall was guarding, blow by Wall for an easy layup, at least three times!gross.

"On Monday Hassan Whiteside, Cole Aldrich and Herb Pope added their names to the list. Whiteside is seen as a high risk, high reward pick and could go anywhere from mid-lottery to mid-first round. Aldrich is seen as a potential late lottery pick. While Pope is a likely second rounder."

Whiteside would be a great fit for us to develop behind Robin Lopez.

Reminds me of Marcus Camby.

Potentially could play PF as well, pair him up with Lopez as the twin towers. If we lose Amare, look to get a couple picks out of him at least.

C - 7'1 Robin Lopez
PF - 7' Hassan Whiteside
SF - 6'10 1/2 Earl Clark
SG - 6'7 Xavier Henry
PG - 6'4 Goran Dragic

That would be a horrible team next year but fun to watch develop.

Of course the actual rotation would be more like, assuming Amare and Barbosa leave or are traded. Bringing back Hill would only have sentimental purpose since we need to get Earl Clark playing time and also have Dudley.

Lopez/Whiteside
Frye/Amundson
Clark/Dudley
JRich/Henry
Nash/Dragic
+ 2nd rounders
